This ep also tells you the humanity in Walt and Hank and the difference,Walt has been through a lot with killing somebody and almost being killed and doesn’t hesitate to keep moving on in life while Hank getting shot at and killing tuko keeps him up and haunts him. Because it’s not normal but Walt has no problem with it
Walt is already facing death sentence due to cancer, that's why he's ready to take more risks, Hank as far as he knows could live till old age, so he's more afraid of death.
Wow, $13,000 for a 3 day stay? I had a kidney stone last year and was in for only 10 hours (I was sent home to pass them on my own as they needed the beds) and it cost me $11,000. The CT Scan and labs were separate from the hospital charges, and this is in a town with a population of less than 1,500 people so it's not exactly the fanciest hospital either.
Absolutely. If I have have time before work, I can't do anything. I just keep looking at the clock until it's time for work. I can only do things after work.
Hank dropped the shot glass into his drink like he threw Tuco's grill in the water. Just to say the showrunners were cooking very well with their camera shots and often you can tell something through them. Also Hank tightening the beer too tight symbolizes he's bottling his emotions before they burst
It's probably also worth remembering that Hank wasn't actually prepared for the shoot out when it happened, it happened completley by surprise, in an instant he went from relatively relaxed to being shot at .. I think it would shake anyone even people who have shot people before.
Hank is my favorite character, by far. He’s introduced in the series as a loud, blowhard type of guy, but that’s all a facade. In actuality, he’s a very loyal, moral, and compassionate person.
It always baffles me how much hate Skyler gets just for choosing to give Walter a taste of his own medicine. Like yeah i get not agreeing with her way of handling the situation but hating her for it is just not it.
That's not how you handle situations . Skyler's level of petty is why she is so unlikable .

I had a job that I had to start at 11am and finish 7pm, which just meant I got up at like 10:30 and didn't go to bad until like 3am. If I got up any earlier I'd just spend the morning looking at the clock worrying how much time I had before work, so instead I just went to bed later.

I watched a Vice segment about a "hospital" somewhere in Asia that blows cigarette smoke on people as a treatment for literally anything. There were kids dying of cancer getting smoke blown in their faces by a guy dressed as a doctor, it was a trip.

His not going to a hospital , His going to a private practice and is seeing the best oncologist. In a previous ep Marine (the sister in law, hanks wife) who is in the medical field. Ask all her doctor friends and co-workers who is the best cancer doctor. The best is going cost a pretty penny
