Thank you for including the low d grace note on the e. That's one of my favorite ornaments. It sounds like a catch in the throat while singing. It really adds depth of emotion to the song.
I like the way you do that tune. I don't know if this the right place for this, but I wonder if you could do a tutorial for "The kid on the mountain" slip jig. Thank you.
Your videos are very high quality learning tools and this offering is another solid example. However, I hope you also study acting because if Hollywood makes a movie about Dan Aykroyd, you are the one they're looking for. I think it would be incredibly cool if you tried a little Blues Brothers persona right here on your channel. 😁 We could all use some light-hearted fun with our serious lessons. Thank you.
@@whistletutor I'm sure you can find the perfect song for your Elwood Blues Tin Whistle Tutorial. I'm looking forward to it! Maybe by Labor Day weekend?
The lyrics to the song are apparently about Bonnie Prince Charlie... who then had to fight against the invading Dutch King William of Orange. The tune and song are much nicer than the politics that still surround the outcome of that story!
