I like how you gave up on trying to fly halfway through the video and then just started using the wings to mow things down.
Yeah, right as he was starting to figure out how to do it. All it needed were some canards on the front and we would have had liftoff from a runway.
But nah, let's just use the wings to do "the usual" that we see in literally every other Car Pal vid.
Which we enjoy more than boring flying cars😂
@@chiadutstuffs7091 If you're a child, I guess.
@@choo_choo_yeah i was kinda dissapointed..
Lol. Too much success, didn’t want to let us forget the carnage
Ok, turning the 911 into a plane was a slight violation
omg 🏙️
I thought of that 💀
Its an improvement

Weaponized supercar with wings?
What in the fast and the furious carmageddon anime nonsense is this? I love it!
"Let's see if we can fly"
4 minutes later
"Oh fck it let's kill and destroy"
Seems about in line withhuman history lmao
you should add a vertical stabiliser next time so that the car 'flys' in a straight line :)
Yea there are no horizontal stabalizers
He has no understanding of aerodynamics, needs horizontal stabilizer, even then it’s probably too unstable to fly
00:45 that's called FORCE ELIMINATION. Your wings (creation of upward force) and the spoiler (creation of downward force), hence eliminating the forces
I have been subbed to this channel for 2 maybe 3 years and 2:10 is now my favourite scene, such grace 🤩
2:09 "Look mommy, why don't you ever let me do so many flips? After all, this guy did it."
The hospital bill:
Fun fact. IRL wings are angled up slightly so that rolling forward on the runway provides better lift, and once adequate lift is achieved it gently rises away from the runway with minimal or no elevator input nessisary.
The setup his cars had here mimic some of the airforces expiremental jets of the 60's where they put short straight wings on trying to maximize top speed to a rediculous level and the program culminated in the SR-71's creation by the 70's.
Nothing appropriate for creating lift in this video. Perhaps maintaining supersonic flight, but that’s a stretch too.
Fun fact the Mercedes CLR doesn't need wings to fly
lmao good one
The only thing it need is a spoiler and multiple aerodynamic issues.
Awesome 😂 The problem is those cars apply lots of downforce and we need "upforce"
Edit: you corrected it 😅
Fun fact: Dummies here at Car Pal's channel are immortal.
In order to test this theory I’ve decided to drive straight into a building at top speed
Fantastic invention! I can’t believe nobody thought of it before! You truly are a genius pal
CarPal is the only person on Earth that can go off task that majestically.
Do you realise what you just did? You gave a new idea for the Fast and Furious movie. That's what you did.
Cuts to Vin Diesel taking out several F-16 and outrunning the rest in a muscle car with wings.
When I saw a bike perspective, I immediately thought it would be an oppressor mk1, but instead got 26 pin bowling 😂
so the porsche conpany way is tractors -> cars -> planes
Lol
Actually more like tractors -> tanks -> cars -> planes

The devel attempt 2 was so cool with the backflips!😂😂😂
Whatever experiment this guy does, he never leaves the police alone.
lmao what did the police do to car pal
6:54 UAE air force xD
Today, carpal learned why tail wings and canards exist 😂
the only reason it didnt fly at first is cause youre missing the horizontal and vertical stabilizers, mainly the horizontal that counteracts the momentum created by the main wing, but anyways this was fun to watch
You need to have the centre of gravity in front of the centre of lift, otherwise your "aircraft" will be unstable and won't fly without a flight control system.
When Car Pal says that these cars are going on a plane flight on 6:55, it just looks sooo cool😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bro fell with style 💀💀💀💀💀🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪💯💯💯
No Devel Sixteens were harmed in the making of this video
Because they don't exist :V
5000hp with devel 16 looking exhausts
You should use thicker wings or swept ones.
Edit: Also epic stunt at 2:05
Yep, seen that at Le Man a few times...
5:29 he was holding on for his life
Besides the wing, you need the horizontal stabilizer at the rear end with elevators to control the pitch of the vehicle.
The wings only provide you lift with roll control. You'll also need a tailfin... or vertical stabilizer for yaw control.
Otherwise you'll just end up somersaulting all the way.
2:05 I'm actually impressed 👍
0:07
The porsche really became a porsche 9/11
Breaking news: Car Pal discovers wings for the first time, does not have a concept of aerodynamic mechanics
just a bit of a concept of center of gravity and he'll be off to the races
I'd like to see a whole video on crazy stuff with the Devel 16, but I can't exactly think of what specific content to do. I guess I'd like to see it go off ramps at max speed, take loop-the-loops and that sort of thing, but you're recent content is so much more crazy, I don't know if a video like that would perform well by comparison.
That landing on the road has gotta be the smoothest Ryanair landing I've ever seen
first clip: STALL STALL TERRAIN TERRAIN
You have to add flaps, Which help Lift the “Aircraft” In this case, a car, Up into the air, and then you need a vertical stabilizer, and make the horizontal one more long. And make The wings more structurally stable.
Kinda funny how I watched a video saying why flying cars is a bad idea and Car Pal uploaded this video
To be fair, they are a bad idea.
You can't trust dumbasses to take driving a multi-ton death machine seriously while on the ground, could you imagine what would happen in the air? God forbid a teen girl behind the wheel getting a text while at cruising altitude.
You should add a rudder or vertical stabiliser and a 2nd pair of shorter wings behind the main wings, known as the horizontal stabiliser. The main wings should be controlling roll at the tips of the wings and and the horizontal stabiliser should control pitch. I hope this helps 😊
2:09 bro really hit that Rocket League flip
it needs: main wings that are able to bend to absorb the g forces, back wings for better flying and vertical stabilizer so the car doesnt go to the sides and you can control it bia rudder pedals and even with all that you still need some engines to push you on the air because if not you fall down or just glide.
I would love to see a part 2 but with tail rudders to maybe help it fly? Like make it like an actual plane with the rear wing and then ofc the ordinary wings used in this one
Small planes actually take off at lower than 100mph.
Heck some old Saabs (the kind of 50s teardrop shaped ones) would lift the rear off the ground if they got up to 70mph because of how aerodynamic with no down force they were.
Carmageddon. I liked the plane as car, out if the reason shown in the 2nd half.
These wing bloopers are maniacs. lol
This video is giving me strong San Francisco Rush 2049 vibes.
2:07 magnificent landing 👍
luved the NFS MW2012 reference at 4:35 but nah that whole map is a reference
The vehicle's nose has a tendency to go up because the wings are attached too far forwards. You need to move the wings slightly behind the center of gravity for stability. However, this can result in a situation where the vehicle cannot take off, because the tail needs to be well behind the rear wheel in order to push the back down into a "wheelie". Another solution would be to place the control surfaces at the front of the vehicle so it can lift the nose up instead of pushing the tail down.
The fact you made 3 planes fall out of the sky.... 😂😂😂😂🔥
Look into the AVE Mizar aka “The Flying Pinto”. Would be a great addition to a part 2 of this.
0:52 I was rolling on the floor 🤣
1:33 Aswell 🤣
The Suzuki Escudo in Gran Turismo 3 could fly if you reached a certain speed and tuned it perfectly. Good memories 🥰
Carpal actually being scientific every now and then is kinda nice
I rly love ur mods u create so many and they are all so good and fun!
The wings have to be in a special form that make the aerodynamic force (or whatever its called) behind the center of mass, that way it can be more easily controlled and more stable, also add rudders and stabilisers, with that all done yo car will fly.
you have to make the “plane stable” put the wings further back, because the center of lift must be behind the center of gravity for stability
oh damn I see we had similar ideas at similar times
and I see that I ended up replicating some of the same issues you had lol modding is tricky
doing stuff like this with the DH Hyper Bolide is so fun
need a vertical stabilizer
6:21 Feels like something a triple-changer would do out of a transformers movie.
These are important videos.
Thanks for the car flying lessons.
Devel Sixteen with wings from Temu, that's some Google Play stuff right there xD
Bruh, that lift is insane.
The end was a great example of why a helicopter works!
Except the one wing would need to be pointed backwards to exactly match a helicopter's blades. _(technically, you'd use two of the _*_same_*_ wing)_
That could be another video...
Using wings to try and turn everything into a helicopter! 😅
Maybe rip the engines from the Me-262 and strap them to the wing tips... Or the JATO pods from the bus, that might be easier _(although, their angled nozzle might complicate matters)_
Oh! And make a Test Dummy "Buzz Lightyear", with a JATO jetpack 😅
2:19 You friggin landed it!
3:11 welcome to ryanair
3:29 THANK YOU FOR FLYING RYNAI-

2:20 pretty sure this was further than the first flight at Kittyhawk, and the Wright brothers weren't doing sick backflips. You win

6:57 bro, stop giving the fast n furious directors ideas lmao
Speed: Okay, let's fly.
Wings: Weeee...lesgoooo...
Lift: I think we've enough to fly.
Gravity: This is gonna be good.
Devel's downforce: Fuuuuck.... Youuuuu...
Something to keep in mind: a nose-heavy plane doesn't fly well, but a tail heavy plane only flies once. Both the Porsche and the devel has the engine in the back...
Real entertainment right here
Planes get propulsion from a propeller or a jet, not the rotation of the wheels, so if it did get off the ground, it would decelerate and then fall back down. So probably not.
4:29 him explaining everything after this second, “ oh yea I just gave up on the purpose of this video and started destroying sht”
wings can pull at 28km/h, most cases wings need less speed than porshe or 350mph
the wings clapped😂
4:43 from this moment on im afraid to jaywalk ever again 😳
THE NFS 2012 MAP IS FIRE
Using the wings and the stabilizer to try to take off from the ground again 😅
Taking off and flying over a road blockade would be sick.
Now do it with the CLK Mercedes
Could've put a bowling pins sound effect over 5:20
Imaging flying your personal aircraft around and some car just t-bones you out of the sky
@6:20 Great shot!
Yes it can
For a car like the devel, a more delta like wing would have been a better option
4:44 let’s break some ankles💀
4:39 thats the bloody NFSMW 2012 map omg
You really, really, really need to add a tail to these things! That's why you have no attitude control.
you would need vertical and horizontal stabilizers to make it stablize and actually fly stable
