As a South Texan, I hear stories all over the states, there is 1 prince of poachers. No state can beat him. We love Charles Beaty. He earned his title.

For sure other than shooting several per season. My pap and uncle taught me to hunt and that was their way back then too. Times change and so do people.

A lot of people call Charles a poacher but in my eyes he’s not a poacher per say, he’s an outlaw hunter. Poaching is riding the roads or shooting one under spot lights, he was actually hunting those deer. He was staying for days, weeks even and hunting hard, that’s outlaw hunting. I’ve known poachers and they don’t cull anything if it’s brown it’s down. Poachers don’t care about the deer herd where a hunter or in this case outlaw hunter is practicing management

It’s not poaching the land owners don’t own the wild animals the animals just happen to live on the land it’s just hunting without permission lol anyone who has hunted or fished there whole life has at one point done something illegal I know I have more than once

If he’s donating all the proceeds he’s currently generating from previous criminal activity…well done. Giving to God? Well done. Because Robin Hood he ain’t. He"s a trophy horn poacher. His game was horns and nothing more.

He can't measure deer because in his story he explains this buck as 190 with 20 points that the tines are so tight they are like your fingers with a 20 inch spread and mass with long tines perfect frame. Well do the math guys if the where just 6 inches long it would go over 200. But ok cool. I still like the guy. Good storyline just do the math before you tell the stories my friend.
