- Gran Turismo Sport gameplay of a few races around Willow Sprints, USA in Gr.3. I initially went for the Corvette as it's one of my favourite cars in this class, the racing on the other hand wasn't quite to the standards I'd typically come to expect from GT Sport!

Very difficult to not have bad races on Forza 7. Also I sleep angry everyday since my Fanatec CSW 2.5 broke :,C
Waiting for Fanatec to reply about arranging the postage to get it fixed.
I find it very hard to play multiplayer games last for this reason. Or ill be playing and do really well on my 3rd race and then i have to quit early in case thats my only high point lol

I’m not done watching the vid but I love your risqué commentary style. The first race was insane mate just a bit angery at the violent Italian. I love that you don’t always pick the fastest car for events and still bring out good results
wehn you pitted on willow in the vette and you jumped the guy and you said you think it might be because the vette is better on fuel it is. that thing is a beast whe it comes to fuel milage even the real life counter part, nice to see polyphony pay such attention to details between the game and real life being accurate
i think it is to do with the lower max rev of the engine. less revs=less fuel used.

BOOST 219 why I regret buying an Xbox S and forza 7 this Christmas.... serves a purpose as I can race (took a break from gaming since Forza 4 XBox and Gran tourismo 3 ((!)) on the pS2) but seeing what Super GT is doing on here and actually how much attention is put into the cars, and the quality of online racing!!!! Since the private lobbies of Forza 4 have I seen such clean racing

1.5 minutes in and I'm already crying of laughter
I realize this is an old video, but I'm recently getting back to playing GTS, recently.. I played quite a bit of the solo stuff, but quit altogether after my first multiplayer daily race. I couldn't believe the way people behaved. It was a chaotic free for all, resembling a pinball game, rather than a motor sport.
What I love about your videos, is that you turn consistent laps and are still able to control your car very smoothly. Even when guys are lunging toward your lines and sweeping across the circuit, in a sad attempt to defend. You hit every damn mark without making it look jerky and without racing dirty. All while offering calm and witty commentary. It's a joy to watch. I am playing the daily races again because you, and a handful of others have reminded me how enjoyable racing online multiplayer can be. I'm not very good at all , but I have fun.

I keep finding these exaggerations way too funnier than I should, "you are gonna go wide for 10 days", "he started braking 8 years too soon"
When someone is driving like that italian, I always imagine it is a 10 year old, who somehow managed to learn the mechanics of driving in the game but still really acts like a 10 year old on track.
I have an ultra-wide monitor, and the replay portion looked amazing on it (albeit at a lower resolution) filling my entire screen. Please don't hesitate to post replays again if you encounter issues recording actual races.
Great memories. As a 17 year old, my first non-karting racing experience was a 4(?) day Jim Russel course at Willow Springs in 1975 in, I think, Lola T200 Formula Fords.

That second race is what GT Sport should be about unfortunely it's easier to have a bad experience in online races

Yes definitely recommend trying it. . Really fun racing. Of course you get the odd idiot but the majority of racers a pretty clean.
What a nice surprise,it’s on sale on the store(£29) just bought it now waiting for the download. Just a bit excited, like the more regulated race feel about the game. Hopefully, don’t run into those demolition derby racers.
have a go at the campaign races and track challenges. it should teach you proper way to tackle the tracks in the game

About the first race that nudge by the French guy before the last corner was very dirty, was perplexed he actually did it... Second race nice calm win, consistency and no mistakes are key to winning sport mode races. Keep it up my man!

It’s funny how the camera got stuck at the end by the pit wall as it smashed the aggravated nature out of the Italian. Awesome.
this is why im not playing this after the last few days of dodgy defending and stupid dive bombs and see your vids have just made my dissension valid. hopefully they can update the penalty system to punish these bad drivers

I have a weird screen ratio (Oneplus 6t) so yt doesn't normally fill my screen on the sides, which means when zooming in for fullscreen I lose the top and bottom of the video, so having the black bar in the replays is actually pretty nice for me
That was *NASTY* and I have noticed that most of the Italians and Spanish drive like that. It is insane!
Ya Willow Springs is all about holding your moment a loss of 5-8Kmh or gain of 5-8Kmh can send you off the track in a fraction of a second at times. There’s usually only one good line in the turns. Really hard track to properly overtake as well.
God, this game looks beautiful. I unironically love overcast weather, works so well with GTS's lighting engine.
day 9 i can see a civilization at the horizon water supply is none might need to drink radiator fluid or brake fluid hopefully be back on track soon.
I do agree that the corvette is a good car for group 3. It feels very stable and has good power. It's actually my go to car in gr.3. Whenever i don't which car to take i end up with this one and it is a pretty good choice.

The thing about the back markers after the update is that they are not completely transparent and they're not fully solid. You used to be able to drive through backmarkers after catching their draft. But now when a back marker goes ghost you can still make contact with them. They just can't make contact with you if you've lapped them.
That Italian guy was such a baby.
One time I won a Group 1 daily by 45 seconds. A 12 lap race at Lago Maggiore, I got pole by over a second in the LM55 and led the entire race, even getting the clean race bonus.

1st race was a bit of a shambles, proper unsportsmanlike driving from some people, if you make contact with someone by accident then just let them back through even if it means loosing a few places. And don’t take someone else off the track when defending! Simples!
Willow is a punishing course, for sure! Those of us who race IRL in the west have home-track advantage - fewer visual reference points than many other tracks and offs are definitely punishing!
Kudos to this game for getting minor details correct - including that horrible burm that will launch you if you manage to send your car out there!
Good man, knowing class when he sees it. Loving the performance of the 'vette. I'm a huge fan, especially since they make them just 30 mins from where I live. Still need to go down to the museum. But, life happens sometimes
If anybody is intentionally slowing down for you to go around the outside of them... they are about to punt you off of the track.

i agree backmarker ghosting in Forza would be so good. also, if the centre mirror worked on chase cam as well as bonnet cam that would give us a fighting chance against rammers

In a replay mode with the HUD on, you can press circle to switch the replay timer to the car speedometer

Playing online multiplayer in any sort of simcade and sim racing can be stressful.
i had a disastrous race last night, lost my b rating and my s rating. tried to regroup and had an even more disastrous race now i'm a c,a. glad it worked for you, i worked so hard to get to b-s and was slowly gaining on the a. i think the first thing i should do when i race again is the short muppet race with no time trial so i start at the back. then stay out of all of the bashing until my s rating is restored. then go back to my gr4 and gr3 races.
I honestly love the daily races since without them in the normal lobby search everyone is spread out and you wouldn't be able to consistently get a full lobby of people who just want to race professionally. Saying that the penalty system could use some work and the sportsmanship rating essential to get a high a possible when you first start out otherwise you get lobbied with wallriders and bumpercars
Problem is People waited so long for a decent racing game that they have been stuck on gta for so long and this kind of grief is just what happens. I've only just got this game and found myself starting off more defensive than i should have been and have now started to appriciate this much more.

As Project Cars 2 driver I gotta give it to GTSport to ghost cars that are lap down. I like to drive GTE in Bathurst and I really hope ghosting would be possible also in PC2 because usually there are top5 cars that go 10sec faster than others and lap down guys like to create mayhem in the narrow part of the track.

I had an idea - and the German Potato is game, what if you commentated on one of his races as your watching it for the first time, not knowing what's going to happen or what he's going to do - and he did the same on one of yours? I thought that could be an interesting twist for a video, could be funny.

One of our head gamers (MusicMan) actually races at Willow Springs, and yes it's extremely tough from what he's shared. A very fun track though!
Issue with this game is that it’s pretty hard to control cars and u can’t just straight away choose super cars to drive, you have to unlock them annoyingly

I had a race last week with that Italian guy, barged everyone off the track and I ended up quitting the race a few laps before the end as I could not be bothered to put up with him driving like that and getting pushed on every corner.
