But that was never the case, because while the 'baseline' age of consent was indeed 13 before it was raised to 16, the laws set in nearly all of Japan's prefectures was set to 16-18 which is a normal age range for the AOC nearly everywhere, including the United States, even before they raised it. So the AOC was truly never 13 anywhere in Japan. 2. Age of consent laws only applies to real life people. They're fictional cartoon characters, we can literally kill them if we wanted to. Why are we bringing in something that doesn't even translate to fiction. It's just stupid.
