總領事賀辭全文：
大家好！ 我同英國駐香港及澳門總領事館仝人，喺度祝大家農曆新年快樂！
今年，係我喺香港過嘅第三個農曆新年。喺過去一年，我哋馬不停蹄，工作得非常之充實。自從英國財政大臣歐思邦舊年二月訪港之後，我哋喺香港同澳門，不論係政治、商務同領事服務方面，都快馬加鞭，全力以赴，同時亦跨過咗唔少嘅困難。
我熱切期待羊年嘅來臨。羊，係一種溫柔、平靜、有耐性，兼富愛心嘅動物。我相信，呢啲特質，喺2015年會同樣體現喺香港人身上。
無可否認，有關政改嘅爭拗，喺羊年會為香港人帶嚟一啲煩惱；但係，我哋對2017、2020以及往後嘅普選進程，仍然抱住審慎樂觀嘅態度。
對好多人嚟講，羊年係一個轉捩點，嚟緊五月英國會舉行大選，香港都會舉行區議會選舉。
今年，我希望英國同香港會有更緊密嘅聯繫，無論係雙邊、文化、教育同商貿各個範疇，都有更多嘅交流。
喺2015年，我同我嘅團隊，衷心希望繼續同香港特區政府、各界人士以及澳門各方好友通力合作。
而家，等我喺羊年用揚琴彈一首傳統嘅廣東新春樂曲「步步高」。
祝大家羊年喜氣洋洋，步步高陞，如意吉祥，恭喜發財！

不理是真情還是假意,反正我看著就的確有一種親切感和被尊重的感覺 =)
有京官可以為了巴結香港人，講下廣東話，表達下對香港人嘅關懷，表達下對中華文化嘅熱愛嗎？
恭祝英國國泰民安，英女皇及皇夫身體健康，威廉王子和劍橋公爵夫人凱薩琳殿下家宅平安、喬治小王子龍馬精神，二王子哈里蜜運成功，英國皇室上下老少平安！
The translation of His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge in Cantonese or Hong Kong Traditional Chinese would better to be "劍橋佐治王子".
And that of Her Royal Highness Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge would better be "劍橋公爵夫人嘉芙蓮".
