“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the LORD weighs the hearts.” (Proverbs 21:2)
What does true repentance look like?
True repentance leads a person to say, "I have sinned" and prove it with a 180-degree change of their direction.
Repentance requires true brokenness.
Repentance is NOT asking the Lord for forgiveness with the intent to sin again.

God has given everyone a opportunity at salvation through repentance and accepting Christ as their own personal Lord and savior. Please take what I’m saying seriously. They’re is a battle for your soul either your with God or your with the devil you gotta pick a side.
“ You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.” (1 Corinthians 10:21)
“the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).”
God won’t force you to do anything. So if you choose to reject God that’s on you. God will just do the same to you as you do to him. You have no reason to blame God when judgment day comes. Please don’t make the mistake of waiting until you feel like your “ready” to live for God. Because tomorrow is never guaranteed. God wants a loving relationship with you right now. What’s stopping you from trying? The answer is nothing! You lose nothing when you give your life to Christ you will only gain once you accept God into your heart. Not only will you receive salvation but you will gain the amazing fruits of the spirit.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23)
One more thing. This has to be the number one thing most Christians struggle with. One of the most important things you must do is to repent of your sins daily! I can not stress how important repentance is.
“No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.” (1 John 3:9)
“No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. (1 John 3:6)
This isn’t to say you won’t ever sin again because that’s quite simply impossible. No one is perfect. It’s the effort that counts. And God will know if your making a effort or not. He knows your heart.
“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the LORD weighs the hearts.” (Proverbs 21:2)
What does true repentance look like?
True repentance leads a person to say, "I have sinned" and prove it with a 180-degree change of their direction.
Repentance requires true brokenness.
Repentance is NOT asking the Lord for forgiveness with the intent to sin again.
Repentance is an honest, regretful acknowledgement of sin with commitment to change.
Repentance leads us to cultivate Godliness while eradicating habits that lead into sin.
