The culture in Finland is Scandinavian but we prefer to speak about the Nordic countries, that is, from west to east, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.
Cars per capita, the number of cars per 1000 persons, is 9th in the world.
The USA is number 6 and for instance Germany is number 25 and Sweden number 38.
    You find the list here:
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_vehicles_per_capita
But we have a lot of room both for people and cars and that might fool you.
We are not smarter than anybody else but we in the Nordic countries have always understood the importance of affordable education for everybody.
    All the best to you.

I'm happy that you found that you liked Finland. Please come back. Why not think about emigrating more permanently? Particularly, if you are likely to have more children because of your faith, Finland is a much better place to live because of the safety and the childcare and educational systems. It makes it much easier to have a large family in Finland whilst working.

Thank you for your kind words about us. Finns are normally polite and accept different views, however we are born to argue an debate on every matter so be aware. I understood that you are a religiuos person and Finns in general are not. There are however regions in Finland with people that are very religous. Just get into a sauna and be prepared for serious discussion 😅

Actually it's over 70% covered by woods and we have more saunas than Cars.
But yes I'm also a musician and i love our nature. Going to the woods and staying there over the night on this weekend . Anyway take care and you're always welcome back.

I love how the Finns hang lost clothes on something so people can find it.
I love how the Grandmas and Grandpas compliment your kids!

Unfortunately you do not get paid more in Finland...actually the opposite. And yes, it is more expensive.

Even though it's a beautiful country with nice people and safer than the U.S., you still should be careful of your surroundings. Criminals can pop up anywhere, anytime. Never let your guard down, because that's how people become part of a statistic.

Getting back a missing wallet depends on which part of Finland you are. In big cities with 90+K people you probably will not get it. In small cities you have better chance on getting it back.

I agree somewhat. I would say that in Helsinki, for example, if you lose your wallet someone will pick it up and set it on the closest windowsill, bench, or recycling bin but probably won't call you or hand it over to the police. Everyone is much busier and less interested in going out of their way to help a stranger out, but most people still aren't malicious like in England or America.
