Your painting process is incredible! I’ve noticed that you and many other digital painters tend to use lots of layers when painting. Is there a particular reason for this? And is there a particular way of separating the layers, e.g. eyes mouth nose on three seperate layers. Digital painting is something I want to learn more about

Thank you so much! The reason we use multiple layers is to better manipulate the drawn shapes. Usually, I have hair, eyes, and clothes on separate layers. But this approach is more about functionality than following any specific rule that certain elements should be separate.
