- In this revamped edition of Star Wars “The Story Of” Series we explore the life of the aquatic Jedi Master Kit Fisto.
I do NOT own the movie footage used in this. Star Wars is owned by Lucasfilm, Disney, and Fox.
An old series in a new light! On reflection, some of my newer viewers may not even know this series was a thing, but thats ok. Please share what you think of this new format for “The Story Of” Too long? Too Short? Music? No Music? Avatar? No Avatar? Fire? No Fire? Let me know, I crave you opinions! :)
EvanNova95 The sound of the fire is a bit too loud during the proper story. I’m thinking you have it at the current volume during the intro then mute it slightly when you get into the topic.
Shrink the avatar slightly and make the video a bit longer and I think you're all set. amazing work as always, though. I've been waiting for this to return. Keep up the great work!

I love this new format! To answer your questions: length is fine, avatar looks good, no music, fire, and that’s all.

Honestly I think if kit fitso and Anakin actually had a few conversations they could have been good friends.

if you have an oxidizer built into the thing you are burning, it can burn underwater. the main thing that prevents most fires underwater is the lack of oxygen which a built in oxidizer provides so you can have all 3 legs of the fire pyramid. Fuel, heat, and oxygen.

I mainly watched this because Kit Fisto is my favorite Jedi.
My favs jedi in rank is obi wan is the best then plo look then yoda then kit fisto then mace then shaak ti and ki adi mundo I can't remember the others but that my favs on the jedi council from best to worst.

Yes he does but that won't happen because that would cost a lot and from my point of view disney is money hungry and kit fisto is unknown to a lot of viewers since he has not a lot of stuff in the movies of him.

His death was one of the hardest to watch after TCW and some of the comics involving him. I think Plo Koon's was the worst, though.

Plo is one of my favorite Jedi and one I'd probably want as a master. Just his calmness and how he talks and stuff. He's a badass in legends and I hope they dwell into his backstory in canon sometime.

Kit Fisto was awesome needed more screen time. He's in my top 3 prequel Jedi, Qui-Gon, Mace and Kit. But I'm sure that's a lot of people's top 3 Jedi introduced in the prequels.

TCW and the tie in comics helped flush out his character.

Could you do the Story of Plo Koon next please? His story is amazing and would make for a great video, including the Stark Hyperspace War, bringing in Ahsoka, fighting Ventress, etc.

I could see Fisto defeating Maul, Fisto always smiled and for the most part retained a level head. Maul was being a Sith relied on emotion, its a natural fact that logic and level headedness beats "feelings". Hence why the Jedi are the greater of the two orders, feelings only work in selfless actions.

An excellent video for one of my favorite Star Wars characters! He’s tied with Quigon Jinn as my favorite Jedi, and depending on my mood I prefer one or the other. Kit is an amazing character and easily the most interesting nonhuman Jedi in Star Wars ( after yoda, of course). Love the video.

It's hilarious those same 4Jedi Masters that took on Palpatine also took out the crimson Nova bounty Hunter guild but when it comes to facing Darth Sidious he nearly mop the floor with them literally.... I guess they did not know the true power of the dark side (Which was Darth Sidious)😂😂💪💪
No, it's not the 7 UP guy's voice that Phil LaMarr is channeling, it's his own. He's basically just doing his Hermes Conrad voice ( a Jamaican) from Futurama ; ) ( I guess they got LaMarr to do the voice because K.F's "dreads" makes everyone assume he's going to have a Jamaican accent? lol )

I think you’ve got a great idea here, especially with the fireside chat format. Good choice! Additionally, thanks for going to all this trouble to make a cohesive story out of the little bits of information made available over the years. It can be tricky to put them all together given how spaced out they are. As for the verdict of that Darth Maul vs Kit Fisto fight, I have to admit I’m on Team Kit, lol.

I really enjoyed how this was presented. Very informative and detailed info about Master Fisto. You said and your friends had something to say about a hypothetical duel between Darth Maul and Kit Fisto can we expect to see Kit Fisto vs Darth Maul in an upcoming versus video?
You also managed to make the canon and legends timeline flow rather smoothly. Could you do something similar for the entire clone war period?
I love both timeliness but keep two separate timeliness, I wondered if it was possible to merge canon and legends?
I'd also like to know their thoughts on Kit vs. Maul. I'm sure Evan and co. would have some very interesting points about it.
I actually love this character very mysterious but not in a typical anti-hero way. I love that he uses form 1 and was considered among the elite duelist. Especially since form 1 is usually out done by form II and all the others out do it also. I hope we get more Kit Fisto content and see him back on the screen somehow
Honest opinion: really enjoyed this video. I very much like the new format (camp fire sounds could be a little quieter but it's not too distracting for me) and as always the production quality is top notch. Looking forward to the next installment in both this series and in the versus series.

One of the best things about Master Fisto in the Clone Wars series was the fact he was one of the only Jedi to ever survive 1:1 combat with General Grievous. Also, it's been revealed in recent years that Fisto was trained by Yoda before Count Dooku came along.

dude that fire sound in the back is hella relaxing. I live in a place with snow outside 5 months a year, i have a fireplace, i just can't afford to burn the wood. Wood is surprisingly expensive.

I find *every *last depiction of Kit Fisto to be downright horrifying, all except for how he looked in the clone wars series.
Kit Fisto is one of my 2 favorite "background Jedi" (along with Plo Koon) for 2 reasons:
1. His name - I mean, come on, how can you NOT love a Jedi named "Kit Fisto" (although I admit part of the amusement is it sounds vaguely pornographic)?
2. He has a supremely excellent smile.

You know, if they sent Kit Fisto and Plo koon to fight Greivous along with a platoon of clones, they could've ended it ages ago.

In the Revenge of the Sith film, Kit Fisto was slashed in the stomach.
I have built my first lightsaber, finally, and have written a character around it. I dream of being in a forcecast video. Especially a “story of”, “how powerful was”, or even a versus matchup. I have saber footage, a story outline, and a list of feats.

I never knew that Cin Drallig was named after his actor Nick Gillard. Cin is Nic backwards and Drallig is Gillard backwards. That’s so cool

All this lore and so many different and inspiring stories, a survivor of such hardcore combats! All of that to die in 15 seconds in the worst filme lightsaber fight of them all
Of course, Kit Fisto's use of a lightsaber that functions under water is the first cannon instance of a lightsaber functioning under water, since the YJK novels were no longer canon after Ep. VII.
What a great idea for a new series ,i would however change the back ground depending on the character. also here is some characters i would love to see :

All in my mind have the most compelling stories within the EU
But was not the conversation about Fisto wanting to go closer to the edge and how that would be dangerous in reference to the jedi-killer droid fight, not the fight with Ventress ? I recently read the Cestus Deception and think it is often taken out of context, he might have felt the same way about his loss to Ventress, but the conversation takes place before he or Obi-Wan become aware of her. A bit nitpicky I know.
I also think it is interesting that he learned how to use a lightwhip for his act as one of Dooku's agents. While the lightwhip is generally inferior to a normal saber, I think it might actually be the perfect weapon for a Form 1 specialists since it has the same strengths, wild, unpredictable offense that is well suited to multiple opponents. (in this case through length) I would have liked it if he kept the whip, even if just as a secondary weapon to fall back on.
Generally I think there is little reason to specialise in Form I, given it's danger and that Juyo does the most important aspects better, but with a lightwhip doubling down on the style I think it might have unique benefits worths exploring.
Interesting insight. I'm curious, do you think Lucien draay would do well with a lightwhip as well
@@thespacecowboy5737 Maybe, but less so than Kit, Draay is more strength based, than Kit who is more speed focused and you can not really leverage strength with a whip. Kit in general also had a more "go with the flow" attitude than Draay, really Draay was just a wannabe Juyo user imo.
Juyo was restricted because of Kun's sith war shortly before Draay's time and afterwards teachers were so sparse that Haazen took over much of his education, even if juyo masters had been available, they likely would not have taught Draay the Form due to his personal issues.
Form 1 is in many ways a more simplistic Juyo and unable to access the real thing Draay molded his Form 1 technique into a close approximation imo.
