I thought it may have been Mark Twain based on the silhouette. But this makes sense given the novel.
I thought that is was John Wilkes Booth.
I personally thought that it was Frederick Douglass as I heard of the fact that he was the most photographed American in the 19th century before I watched this video and turns out I was correct.
Can we just take a moment and appreciate the awesomeness that is Fredrick’s hair
Frederick Douglass is one of my favorite historical figures. His story is so important to history and his autobiography paints a vivid picture of the horrors of slavery at the time. Thank you for making a video about him!!

The history of photography is incredibly fascinating. People have used photography for all kinds of movements, from abolition in the US to revealing what Belgium was getting up to in the Congo.

Not accidental. Just most people didn't watch it when I released it over the summer and I wanted to release content on this shortened Thanksgiving week.
