EVERY section of this video you will learn something new. How to create fringe earrings, loom bracelet, a star, a peyote triangle detailed and EXPLAINED, etc etc .... Create you own bead collection, and attribute to projects, An inventory directly with your beading software, The amount of time saved. GOODNESS! And the list goes on. I am in total admiration of this software. 🤩😍🥰
I've been using this amazing program for about 3 weeks, now, and figured I was nearly an expert.....this video showed me so many more little, helpful features I didn't know about. Thanks!
Awesome video and demonstrations. Very helpful in any areas that you need to work on a project. Thank you for this demo. You are so kind and informative to us beaders.
I can't get the word chart options to change. It doesn't matter what option I select for starting bead, bead direction, or alternate row direction the word chart doesn't change. I've even tried resetting the word chart after changing the options, but it stays the same regardless of what I select.
I created a collection of all my TOHO 11/0 beads and it worked really well. Now I am trying to do the same with my Miyuki 11/0 beads and it keeps telling me the bead doesn't exist in the library. I even tried just looking them up with the product number and no luck. Can you help?
Hello! Transferring an image into beads is usually quite a tricky project. If you are asking this question I think perhaps you may lack confidence in designing? In this case I would start with a simple design and get used to the software, then go for an image conversion next. Sorry this does not exactly answer your question but I hope it is helpful anyway.
Yes, you can set up a fringe canvas by starting with a brick stitch project and then using the row-shift tool to shift alternate rows to make the bottom half loom pattern -- then you can design fringe as you like!
I hadn't used the app in awhile and just tried it again and it looks like you can no longer drag your finger to fill in areas or draw lines, just have to tap each square individually or use fill in rectangle. Am I doing something wrong or was that feature actually removed?
Hi! This is a known issue for PC touchpads only. Right now you need a mouse for everything to work with PCs. Dragging your finger should work on iPads. I'm looking into the problem still. Thanks for your understanding!
Hi Dianne, thanks for the question. There are no font capabilities in the program, so you need to draw out the letters yourself. But you can also create your own alphabets in this way and then move letters to the right place to save a bit of work. Hope this helps!
Hello, I'm new to this software but am really enjoying it so far. After watching all of the videos I do have one question I hope you can answer. (I'm still waiting to get approved on the Facebook group where this question may have already been addressed).... When I use the Loom pattern for my beaded fringe earrings, when I go to export, the orientation of the pattern diagram is horizontal which I understand is limited to 30 beads. Is there a way to toggle the orientation vertical so that the entire pattern fits on 1 page, and also visually is much easier to follow. Please advise.
Hi Judy! Welcome! Thanks for the questions. Firstly, you can make a pattern much bigger by specifying the no. of rows or columns when you first create a project. You can also change the size of your project by altering the row/column number in the menu system. Secondly, yes, you can change the orientation with the rotation tool. When you select it, a sub menu appears that has a +90 and -90 button that will rotate the project by 90 degrees. Hope this helps!
@@beadographer Hello, thank you for your reply, but unfortunately that was not my question. I do understand the features you are describing, but I'll rephrase: When I design a LOOM pattern for the purpose of Fringe earrings (which hang vertical and are made vertically) and then click EXPORT, the pattern outputs in the PDF in a horizontal orientation. A VERTICAL orientation in the PDF file would make more sense in this example for two reasons: 1) for ease in following the pattern when making fringe earrings, and also avoiding chopping the pattern to a second page when the length exceeds 30 beads. 2) will save paper when printing as a vertical orientation will print on 1 page. Please consider a software update, perhaps a Setting where end-user can select to toggle the output diagram as either Horizontal or Vertical. Thank you for your consideration.
@@judydejong3789 Thanks for the clarification. Good idea to have that option to allow for vertical or horizontal image. You are right that is currently not possible. The best you can do at present to fulfill this need is to manipulate it in a desktop publishing program...

Thanks so much! So glad to hear you've been enjoying the app!
Very helpful video, I've been using this app for a week and I really find it useful.
Yay, thank you!😀

Thank you! Enjoy the app!
Wonderfully helpful tutorial, thank you very much for making this!
May I know where I can find the list of hot keys so I can toggle between the tools? Thank you !
Hello! The guide cross-references the hotkeys but I'm not sure that they're listed together in one handy place. beadographer.com/guide
Just bought app. How do I create a brick stitch triangle earring layout?
With fringe, I mean?
I can't get the word chart options to change. It doesn't matter what option I select for starting bead, bead direction, or alternate row direction the word chart doesn't change. I've even tried resetting the word chart after changing the options, but it stays the same regardless of what I select.
Sorry to hear this! Could you send your .bead file to leah [a] beadographer.com and I'll take a look and help you?
I use seed beads and perler beads. Can I generate programs for both?
Hi! Yes, both seed beads and perler beads are supported. You can choose the type of bead from a drop-down menu when creating a new project.
Does the program no longer do bead count for each color on a project?
Hi! Yes it does, both in the palette section of the menu (free version) and in the PDF export (paid version). Hope this helps 🙂

Sometimes you need to remove leading 00 so DB0010 is listed as DB10. That may help?
I have a question if I want to do a picture of my granddaughter where do I start?

I'm using my android phone. It was working then stopped. Has there been a fix found for this or will I need to use PC only?
How do you do letters in a pattern

Can you use safari
Thanks for the question. Yes you can use Safari.
hey! where is the library with the drop fringe earrings?
For now, you have to use brick stitch. In the future I hope to create a dedicated fringe pattern.
@@beadographer have you created it yet?
I'm about to fall asleep
