    One of the best moments ever at a festival. Breeze blowing off the water. Lit hula hoops everywhere in the darkness. Fantastic!

    Excellent. A few stumbles on the lyrics - perfect. Elvis does look like he was hurtin' and he showed up anyway. A departure from the conventional sound, but cool.

    oh lawd...no doubt about it, this is the absolute worst version of this Grateful Dead classic that Ive ever heard, and understand that I have seen Jerry Garcia nod out in the middl eof it before

      I agree. Elvis Costello is a good performer, but this song reveals his weaknesses and It’s hard to wAtch

      Best comment hahaha (i was saying, where's the lead guitar) you're so right, he evidently doesn't know it's a broken hearted love song and a paean to death, and a mini symphony in the genre'

      ​@@bretfoley424 Loved this song for decades, and recently asked myself what it's about. I'm thinking lyrically it might not be about as much as imagery of a mood along the lines you described.
