I so wish in these competitions that there was a dress code for males in perticular. It doesnt look goid baggy pants & a flannelette shirt hanging down. A nice t-shirt even would look so much better.
Funny given the roots of WCS. It evolved as an amalgamation of Lindy Hop, Western Swing, Jitterbug and Country Swing. Literally all of the dance fashion in its history is characterized by straight fitting or boot cut, oversized, baggy pants and oversized jackets and shirts. Quite literally since its very inception. It's free flair and movement. Also, letting people wear what they're comfortable with without getting judgemental is a way cooler approach matching the entire social, dance, enjoy life thing...
