Hey there, these are some fun trucks for sure I won the King Sling in a raffle at a race last month, and so far I love it! We were playing in the cold and managed to break the front housing... almost smartly how yours broke... I repaired it, VERY CHEAPLY, and so far the repaired housing is holding up, ot hasn't taken any hard direct hits yet, but it HAS survived a whole pack out in below freezing temps again the other night, which included a handful of jumps that sent it about 6ft up and 8-12ft in distance(soft-ish landings into some snow)... I hope to make a video soon of how I fixed it up... ordering up a new axle housing to reinforce the sale way to have as a spare on hand, and for easier filming as I don't want to take the truck back apart until I have to.
I'm wanting to put monster truck style tires on it eventually, which will only stress things more, so I'm hoping this helps it hold up, as the aluminum axles are spendy... there's a new aluminum half of the housing on amain now, I think it was an HR upgrade part.... it replaces the big smooth part of the housing opposite the input shaft , amd it's like 1/3 of the cost of the full metal ones, I may try that first, and if a Treal or other similar axle ends up needed for the front I will move that to the back.
So far, I'm hopeful that just reinforcing the inside of the plastic housings will work....and it's nice to know there's some pieces that will give a little...I want to keep at least SOME plastic in there , even if it ends up just being the spindles... so there's a relatively cheap and easy to replace part to be the sacrificial weak link...

Amazing video my friend, still dig the old bodies idea haha.

Thank you! I planned glue some foam inside those bodies that they gonna look more realistic. That crash was pure stupidity but now i can laugh for it already 😅

Zip tie the axles , makes a huge difference...i have about 12 zip ties on each.
    Nice video!

Ok, that's interesting 👍 Maybe i'll try that before braces 🤔 i found 3D printer file already for those braces and thinking print those but zipties can do same.

Nice run and great filming, shame about that rock jumping out in front of you at the end😁 after watching your vids I've ordered a Son of a digger LMT, are you replacing the axle with a plastic one or going for alloy?

Thank you very much 👍 it's clear now, i hate jumping rocks even have meet only one of them 😂 I continuing with plastic housing but ordering Freestyle rc axle braces for them. Gongratulations for new car, very fun to drive and it's good car even stock housing not are most durable ones.
