It's cool seeing Chad look at something for the love of it knowing he wouldn't change a thing - so often he sees through the car in front of him to the post-chop car he has yet to build. He has a real love and appreciation for that truck. He literally doesn't yet have the skills to drive it and needs to up his game - that is being called by something. Whatever it is about that truck it's tugging on him. Either that or it's just the biggest toy truck he ever bought.
Nice glimpse into the future. I hope Chad can find a car hauler that will carry all their customized cars and tour the states displaying his craftsmanship at all the car shows.
I knew on the last episode we saw this thing, Chad was going to some how end up buying it! And I couldn't be more stoked! Its a super awesome truck as is!
Now this is a whole new direction for the Bad Chad Channel. Never driven one but now you've really got an adventure going home. Now that would provide content with a difference.
Make sure someone shows you how to change gear - probably non-synchromesh so you need to double declutch and match revs. Then when you get used to that you can shift without using the clutch. But it is a skill that needs learning and practice. Hats off to the pro truck drivers!!
wow, love the cabover! an old trucker myself, drove a freightliner for 27 years. you will have to get a commercial drivers license to operate it, right? it's in primo condition, love it. have fun!!
I like the look of the set back steering axle of this FLB Freightliner. I would have liked to have driven this model but never got the chance to there weren't a lot of them around where I live, you had to import them in privately and convert them from LHD to RHD no dealers and factory support, the Argosy was a factory built RHD model and they were very popular. I have driven a set forward axle Freightliner Argosy with a Detroit engine in it and it was a good honest truck. Best of luck with your new purchase I hope you get some good miles out of it, drive safe and have a good one.
Once you learn how to drive one of these, it’s super fun . That’s a beautiful rig . Wife and I drove over the road together for more than ten years . Wife was better at backing up than myself. Love your vids!
The first time I saw this truck on a previous episode, I thought it was chopped. The visor going across the front gives the windshield a chopped look. A very "retro cool" truck.
I’ve really been enjoying the building and the four window coupe now you’re going to buy a semi truck this will be interesting I love watching every episode I’m 73 years old and I live in Kenai Alaska and it’s cold here about 9° today and snowing

You can tell that man loved that truck ..... Super Clean for a 93 !

Nice one Chad when you said cab over. I didn't think it would be that big.
Got to give Chad props to the Nordiques jacket, awesome truck too

I love the old cab overs good job
No chad I would like to see you build one of thoses old 50s car hauler to pull behind the cab over
Will only cost you around $20,000 to drive it legally. You need a class 1 and have to take the course to get the licence.

Very nice purchase Chad and Jolene
Chad what a lawn ornament you have there
It'd be cool to have a big car hauler trailer behind it then you could really go car shopping
What a nice frieghty cabover
The first time I saw this truck on a previous episode, I thought it was chopped. The visor going across the front gives the windshield a chopped look. A very "retro cool" truck.
You need those visors on those ole cabovers. Or you'll be blinded by the light, bigtime.
Stretch the frame, remove the 5th wheel and install a tilt bed with winch. No more shipping or renting a trailer!
Nice Truck Chad, lot of fun right there!
Wicked! That'll haul your show cars and a camper anywhere you want.
Check your provincial rules regarding RV regulations vs tractor
And just like that that snow is gone. 🤔🧐
That's it I wanted to see Jolene drive it home.
Awesome.
nice truck and im no cabover lover! That was is exceptionally excellent!
Gonna be a blast......be jammin gears in no time... ....neighbors will be pissed of you use the jakes too much lol
