Beautiful bag and color 😍. I have loved Dooney and Bourke bags for years, but the red interior always puts me off. There was a crosshatch pink and white one for some of their collections that meshed very well with the bag colors. Hope you enjoy and have a great day !!
Yes, I totally understand. I love red and bright interiors, but it just doesn't "go" with all the exterior colors.

It’s so cute! I agree, the striped interior is so much cuter. I have a zip pod backpack in the natural saffiano and trust me, it’s very durable! No wear is showing at all in a couple years.

You’re right - the interior gives it that New Englander/Nantucket feel. It’s so beautiful! I love D&B tan/cognac color so much. They nailed it. I can also see you pairing this bag with other more comfortable strap.

I have the regular-sized Saffiano Zip Satchel in light mauve. It has the blue stripe and cream lining, which I love. That lining was used in Dooney’s Beacon collection. I bought several bags from the collection in part because I like the lining so much. 😊

I enjoy the backstory and learning how you ended up with the bag just as much as seeing the bag. The charms look so cute on it. I have the larger size. The smaller size looks great on you. Dooney Saffiano wears like iron but does soften over time. The colors are so saturated and that interior is very “New Englandish”. Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛

So funny I recently came across a D&B Bucket bag in safiano leather with the same blue and white strip interior. It is in brand new condition and I got it for $60 at a thrift store in Asheville, NC. I didn’t realize how much I love their safiano leather🤩

I just ordered a bitsy off of Poshmark NWT. I am excited and I also ordered a ruby which is another smaller size I am excited to get them and try them out for times when I don’t need ALL the things with me.
