Awesome build! though i think you accidentally featured the TeamGroup T-force delta rgb kit instead of the OLOy kit when listing off ram
luv my non max HS80, but it does have known issues with BT/WIFI interference, also you were talking about bottlenecks for 4k settings, showing 1080p cpu bottlenecks lol, i'm not a fan of amd and run i5 procs in home, 8th/12th/13th gen respectively...so I def would not be using a amd proc anyways, nothing personal, just a personal preference :D so i'm not sure if the 2700x would bottleneck at 4k competitive settings, but that feels misleading, i use cpu bottleneck also, but you did have it set to 1080p, after running my own bottleneck test, the 2700x does not bottleneck a RTX3080 at 4k res :D GG great vid tho :)
I'm a student, I want to do some programming and occasional gaming. What should I buy a pc or a laptop (If my budget is $600-$700, including monitor) and I definitely want at least 512 GB storage, 8-16 GB ram and windows 11. Also, I want everything to be brand new.
What option would be best for me, please recommend.

is the is the rtx 4060 ti and the i5-12400f gonna work?
8700k is actually still a very capable cpu and at 4k the gpu will be doing most of the work. tbh it's a minimum bar so anything above a 1600x is good for recommend which is fine and I can confirm the 6700k and RTX3060 run the game at well over 60fps at high settings as stated by the developer.
Although what you're saying about being a capable CPU is correct, as well as the GPU carrying the load is correct, it's still a bad bottleneck no matter how you slice it.

Wanted to know because this is strictly for call of duty and to get great frames and smooth bullet registration. Like the UA-camrs. So wanted to know what exactly should I look for? Game devs create these spec sheets by testing games and check whether they reach adequate performance they don't consider market pricing and availability rather they give importance to what gamers as a whole have in there pc they provide support for low end parts in order to make game accessible to more audience not just ppl who built a pc last year or 2
I recommend cutting out little circles of white vinyl to put over the fan labels, especially when you've rotated them 90°. Makes it much cleaner!

good to note that radeon usually runs faster than nvidia in cod games so the rx 7600 is a good choice too if you want a new gen card
The 4060 is much more power efficient tho. But nonetheless this two cards despite their price going down stil doesn't make them a good cards ngl, they are decent at best.
Radeon cards have been enjoyed the infinity ward 9.0 engine though which has microcodes that shared graphics pipelines that schedules for AMD gpus.

I agree the bottleneck for i7-8700k and rtx 3080 is a huge bottleneck at 1080p, but if you are gaming at 4k its not that bad. Which is what they are recommending with that setup. You only get around 7.2% bottleneck at 4k with the same calculator you used. When you check for bottlenecks with that program you should also match their recommended resolution. Remember they are recommending that setup at 4k, not 1080p!

i7 6700K was always paired with a GTX 1080Ti back in 2016/17. I don't think it's a bad combo. btw, RIP to the days where we used to be able to build the highest end consumer PC for the price of a 4090.

I used the "Can you run it" tool to see if my system specs can run modern warfare 3 and it passed the minimim requirements. I have an i7 8700k, GTX 1060 6GB, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM. I haven't tried playing the game on my PC yet but I don't need ultra settings.😮
yes that sounds about rite, the 8700 or 3600 , either has 6core 12threads, thats pretty much ur minimum GOTO chips for games that are core hungry and thread hungry, chomp chomp chomp chomp 😅
You should def be able to, and I mean if you can’t just sell your 1060 and get a 5700xt used for like $120 and boom, no more worries if you can run it haha

That bottleneck calculator says that a 7800X3D would bottleneck a 4070ti by around 30%, so I don’t know how much stock I would put into that as a useful tool.

That game is a trainwreck. You can tell the amount of effort and passion put into the development of Mw2.5
I use a R5 5600 paired with a RX 6700XT my secondary PC is a R5 3600 with an RX 7600. The chip I have used in my dad's and my nephew's is the R5 3600 the GPU very depending on the Age of user.

I love the idea of upgradability, but I got a Ryzen 7 1800x for upgradability, but I'm looking to upgrade now and I'm probably not even sticking with am4, so I guess the option is nice but I don't upgrade every couple years
5600x is amazing and if you wanted to stay with Am4 for a few more years it's hard not to recommend the 5800x3d

Yes. Those requirements are something im mad at. My 750 ti can run the game but at an actually trash 30fps in dmz and 45 fps in normal
Been playing MW3 on my 1080ti, display resolution at 1440p, render to 1080 then upscale with FSR 2.1. Game looks great, getting from 90-120 without it looking like dogshib. Can’t complain, coming from console for 20 years lol, definitely want to get a 2080 ti or something to try dlss.
Paired with i7 11700, first build so I don’t know toooo much, just to get by

How much on a scale of 1-10 would you recommend this MOBO for a new build. I love the price and have a Ryzen 5 3600 and would like to slowly get my parts in new.
Min requirements to get the game going, they did that.
Recommended as what would work well for this game specifically, they did that too..
Also, with some games being more CPU heavy and others being more GPU heavy the recommended specs are fine too. Sure, that combination could bottleneck elsewhere but might be perfectly fine for MW3.
Honestly, I don't see the issue with the requirements. Nice clean build, absolutely. However, the commentary seems to exist to push affiliate links to a point where commentary is no longer fair.

People who make the spec sheets don't necessarily NEED to know the market, they need to know what will run their game apart from that solid vid.

Hello I built my friend a pc with a Ryzen 5 3600 and an RX 6600. he is trying to play warzone 2.0 but cant seem to get past 80 fps even on low settings. The research shows he should be able to get over 100 fps with this combination. Any idea what the issue may be and how i can fix it?
How much am I looking to spend if I want a pc build running 4k 180 min fps? Or something around there, more than a ps5 but don’t want to spend over 1400$
On the 4k you should have turned the benchmark calculator to 4k instead of 1080p. That’s what made the bottleneck above 20%

I use red dragon wireless keyboards. And for mouse right now there a cool EVGA wireless mouse on amazon for only 20 which supports both a dongle or bluetooth.

Naw man. You want as much threads as possible for Warzone and AMD GPUs are better for COD. A 6c/12t Ryzen 5 5600 and a 6700XT can be built for $700. All brand new parts. The 5600 for $100 + $20 Thermalright Assassin X cooler is just hard to beat and a used 3600 for $65 just isn't worth it especially without a cooler.

Hey Zachstechturf I have a question for you. I am looking for laptops that are under 600 that can play games and is a convertible.
Wow with those parts ultra settings avg 109 fps that means full competive low visibility settings and all ridded off from Windows etc configs etc u get 300-500fps nice.
I have never looked at my bottleneck numbers but I run a i7 13th gen with a 6600 I feel like I definitely need a better gpu
I hate building in that case. That stupid panel you mount the front fans to restricts flow considerably and causes a lot of air noise. Generally cheap and crappy elsewhere. I stopped building systems in it even when it's on sale.

I’m running an i5 9400F Gtx 1080 16gb RAM and get 130-150 fps on 1080 in multiplayer. And it feels smooth as hell compared to my ps5.

In multiplayer for sure, in warzone i doubt you will be stable above 144fps all the times, thats the territory of 13gen 14gen intel cpu and specificaly for cod purposes the ryzen x3d chips are convinient, so happy to have 5800x3d, was easy upgrade and when i found out its basically on par with 13gen intels for gaming, it was a nobrainer upgrade from 5600x, dont know how in wz3 but in wz2 i never went below 160fps in any possible scenario, also with a help of 6800xt gpu, fun fact this combination allows for amd sam function from which the call of duty benefits from even more.

Hi Zach, day 11 of asking if you could help me making a 1400$ pc with a 4070, or even with amd if it's worth it, knowing that I don't just play games and I would prefer to have nvidia features. I was also thinking about a 7600x or a 12600k but I don't really think it would fit with the price, there is also the 12400f 100$ cheaper, so if I can have your opinion on this, it would be perfect!

U upgraded from a 1070 to an 6700XT running along side 32GB Ram and a 5600X and in games I am getting major stutters with my fps going from 160FPS to 30FPS Every few seconds (ON MW2) I used DDU to make sure drivers aren’t at fault and I have no idea what the issue is :( Please help

oh buddy, playing mw3 on i7-2600k and gtx 1050ti here, if you tweak your game good enough through config file and nvidia settings, you can get more than 70fps inside multiplayer. sure, it's not ideal nor comfortable enough, but... well, who am I trying to fool, runs like shit, but somehow still getting that positive kd :G
