I will set up my MacBook tomorrow when the case is delivered. I used to be a Windows user, then to Tablets and finally to a Chromebook. This is my 5th Chromebook but now I'm interested in the MacBook and so no more Chromebooks for awhile. I think this device will be a good thing. I have to learn it like I had to learn Windows and the Chromebook. Once you start actually using the device then you will automatically pick up the usage of what's important to you. I use an external keyboard because I use my macbook like a desktop computer at home. That’s why I placed it on a laptop stand like that. I still use the actual keyboard dw. 😊
They say dustplugs and keyboard cover arent good for your mac esp. the air since it inhibits the airflow 😕 The more you are concerned from dust entering the gadget, the more it is prone to damage when you use these.
@@kem4221 Yeah, it is fast. The battery is amazing but it all depends on what you do. I run a flight simulator using a joystick and it takes the whole battery in about 5h. But not bad for a pc that is not designed for gaming. Dis you get yours ?

Hi! Yes, I’m still using both the mouse and keyboard (Replaced the battery of the mouse already). I actually haven’t purchased any new accessories, but I’m planning to purchase a USB dock if I need to connect it to a desktop.
Did you just buy every thing other than an USB dock ? And as far as i know, MBA M1 cools passively. Blocking direct heat dissipation by adding a cover will only add upto the laptop's struggle.

I dropped and cracked the screen on my Asus CX5 (2021) and then I cracked a piece on the bottom of my Asus CX5 (2023). So before I manage the MacBook, I'm going to fully protect it before I touch it. I've been watching any and all MacBook Air M1 2020 unboxing and setting up videos on UA-cam. I just ordered a raised lap stand for it and a case to garage it when I put it up. What's your take on leaving this device in Sleep Mode when not in use or is shutting it down better?

I’ve watched some videos that says that it isn’t right to drain a macbook because it can ruin the battery health. I use it while it’s charging to avoid the cycle count from increasing rapidly.

hi! would definitely recommend the mouse and keyboard. no connectivity issues so far. I think the only issue is that when my bf used my mba, he told me that the mouse was quite laggy, but I when I used it I can’t see what he was talking about.
Nope mine doesn’t overheat at all. I once left it charging overnight because I forgot to remove it from the socket and when I touched the back part of it, it’s not hot at all.

When I get a laptop instead of a laptop stand I can use a binder like the big binder the the small ones
Is there any pro and cons on buying a educational version compared to the regular mac other than price?
I’m not so sure but I think when you buy from the Apple store you can pay in installment, but when you but in educ store you need to pay in full.

Macbook Air is a great choice, but if you are still a kid you can go for much cheaper macbooks. You can go for a macbook as well 😊
You can buy Macbook Air with student price from Apple.
I would suggest getting an older generation MacBook, ones that are refurbished can be even cheaper and apple sells some directly 💕

hi! would definitely recommend the mouse and keyboard. no connectivity issues so far. I think the only issue is that when my bf used my mba, he told me that the mouse was quite laggy, but I when I used it I can’t see what he was talking about.

Nope mine doesn’t overheat at all. I once left it charging overnight because I forgot to remove it from the socket and when I touched the back part of it, it’s not hot at all.
