I have 310rr bmw.... No body is responding in andhrapradesh if i have got any prblm..... One of the main reason is there is no service station at Visakhapatnam metropolitan region....

Oil filter + other filters lekar experienced mechanic ke paas le jaate and all works would have been completed in 6k max... including the clutch and brake and gear levers...

Bro, No Offence But I own RR310 BS6 & Trust Me I Had Got My Bike's 4th Service Done From TVS In Less Than Half The Cost Of You Paid With More Things Replaced Which Included Oil Change, Oil Filter Change, Spark Plug Change & What Not. You Are Paying A Lot More Than You Should Because Of That BMW Brand Tag.
Well that BMW brand tag makes the whole difference bro! People notice that white beast. I've ridden both the bikes. People don't even notice the TVS one. The color of BMW makes the whole difference. Even the kids appreciate it. Wherever I go, I listen wo dekho BMW ki bike. This makes me a proud owner.
Now all these things might not be a feel-good factor for you. But for many people, they pay extra for the art, not for the CC's or specifications. So yea! Hope my point is through you!

Don't you think, the labour cost 5k is too much! Actually for 5k i can service my adv.390 including labour and all other expenses.
Bmw service is always a bit expensive. But remember that bmw is a yearly service interval. So paying 10k-12k per year is a little more than paying 4k-5k per service twice a year. The BMW will have better resale value than a KTM as well.

my TVS rr310 service cost for 15,000 km was rs.3400 !!! (this was not a free service)

Bhai, I don't agree with you. Superbike hai yaar... parts are precision made which makes them expensive. Labor are specifically trained to work on such high end machines, so they are paid/ salaries are high. Then there is the service experience - you feel awesome at any BMW dealership, can you say this about TVS? These are the reasons why costs add up.
