amazing reversal on the mill druid there. So satisfying seeing them get a taste of their own medicine. Hooktusk is such a goated card

Maybe seeing a Resurrect Priest get outplayed with their own cards.
I love this style of gameplay from Dane. The sad reality is that my brain isn't wrinkled enough to use Scabbs like this and, unfortunately, I miss out on a lot of rogue gameplay as a result!
Honestly, watching Dane play some of these decks and how he pilot them is a work of art. I consider myself a decent player, but often find my self asking how TF will Dane get out of this situation, and then he just draws half the deck, steal the opponents win con etc. Not to mention the speed he operates at, brilliant player!
Trust in sharkie and shadowstep and the mana curve will work out

Hooktusk is summon, not only play, so you might complete her fast with patches and gang up.
Good idea…also that 5 mana spell = 4 pirates each, and does not waste shadowsteps…however it’s more expensive and the sunken vessel may interfere with secret passage or be messed up by gear shift and fizzle…you’d depend on finding the sunken vessels for the most part
Well true, but regardless the biggest issue is still that Hooktusk cost 8 mana. So even if you manage to play 8 pirates by turn 3-5, you still need Scabbs or other ways to cheat her out earlier.

That druid played so horribly, they had so many opportunities to kill the battlecry pirate
and he also had lethal if not forgotten to attak turn 2 ^^

He really deserve to reach it! Sad truth though, since November 2022 hes only gained a little over 1000 subs. From 98,5 to 99,8 in over a year. Wild Hearthstone audience is so limited, sadly.

The moment I saw Miracle Yogg Rogue pop up I immediately wanted to pair it with Hooktusk for maximum stealing but I ain't as big brained as Dane to optimize it into a functional deck, thanks Dane ❤

Anyone have an idea what could yogg be replaced with after the reworks hit the game? I crafted the deck and enjoy it alot, would be a bummer if i had to stop using it completly.
Nothing. The best you can do is to stuff some arcane giants and breakdances, and hope to get copies of breakdances through door of shadows to protect yourself. But at that point, you'd be better off to completely switch to miracle rogue.
