Id love to live in love and peace as a muslim. I live in Egypt muslim majority country but there is alot of christians. I have many Christian friends. In Egypt the relationship between Muslims and Christians is very strong and this "Islamophobia" is almost non existant. People here aren't racist idiots. Obviously some people are sometimes racist to christians as it's a muslim majority country but being against different beliefs for no reason is hated in islam and the quran. This relationship dates back over 1000 years ago since the muslims led by one of the prophets sahaba entered Egypt and spread islam in Egypt BUT they never forced any of the Christians in Egypt to enter it and they promised to protect all the land of Egypt muslim and christian if they pay the war tax. Proof for that is the exsistance of many Muslims here and historical churches built before Muslims entered Egypt still exsist till now and weren't harmed or destroyed. Yeah Im half Aboriginal half Polish & I grew up with mostly Aussie friends in the North Shore and Northern Beaches (Sydney) who were all anti- Muslims which sadly had rubbed off onto me and made me anti-muslim most my young years. Then 11 years ago I moved out to a heavily Islamic area so all my sons friends were Muslim and my hair dresser, the people who ran my local coffee shop, the corner store, my pharmacist everyone, and they all ended up being such lovely and kind people so I decided to read up on Islam and then I would also ask them all questions which they happily answered and explained for me. Now I have nothing but respect for them all. I also cant believe how much good food I had missed out on half my life lol.

I hope there will be more tolerance towards other communities. I have been to Buenos Aires 2 years ago during the Eid festivals, and the Muslims there are practising their religion without any fear, in fact, more Argentinians visit the largest mosque to know more about Islam. They are more tolerant. I hope Australia and other western countries can learn from Argentina.

Yeah Im half Aboriginal half Polish & I grew up with mostly Aussie friends in the North Shore and Northern Beaches (Sydney) who were all anti- Muslims which sadly had rubbed off onto me and made me anti-muslim most my young years.
Then 11 years ago I moved out to a heavily Islamic area so all my sons friends were Muslim and my hair dresser, the people who ran my local coffee shop, the corner store, my pharmacist everyone, and they all ended up being such lovely and kind people so I decided to read up on Islam and then I would also ask them all questions which they happily answered and explained for me.
Now I have nothing but respect for them all. I also cant believe how much good food I had missed out on half my life lol.

I plan to move to Australia in next 2 years but when seeing this video, I am not really confident. I am someone who wears the hijab and an Asian. I hope there will be more tolerance towards other communities. I have been to Buenos Aires 2 years ago during the Eid festivals, and the Muslims there are practising their religion without any fear, in fact, more Argentinians visit the largest mosque to know more about Islam. They are more tolerant. I hope Australia and other western countries can learn from Argentina.
