Can I remove Microsoft Photos app by clicking uninstall rather than the method you showed? ... and then getting it in the Microsoft sore? My pc recognizes old photos on my camera, but not the one I just took.

I thought from the menu that if you do RESET you lose all your data. I tried REPAIR which does not affect data but did not solve the problem.

what the problems was i removed the app from my laptop then it looks like i ran out of room on my c drive so free it up after installing the new windows app it worked guys.i need to see pics so i can add them into my youtube channel thanks anyway to the geek page

If Your photos app has black screen so
go to app setting and just click on repair instead of reset so after 5-10 minutes your problem will be solved just like me 👍🏻👍🏻

That feature is grayed out. You can't use it.
