This video influenced me to buy one. I bought the manual SE. MPG over 900 miles is 42.7. The manual shifts smooth and helps with acceleration. The Venue is not a highway cruiser: High rpm's over 65 mph. Nonetheless, it gets 50 mpg at 50-55 mph, has great features and is a solid value. Just keep to the right lane on the highway...:) . Update: The Venue is now 1 year old with 10,000 miles. It has averaged 44+ mpg in all around driving. If you don't need space or status, grab one.
I test drove one coming from a kia rio 2015 manual, felt great, good basic economy car! The cvt was not fun, felt underpowered....manual bring this car to life! I'm thinking about it right now.....my rio was great for 7 years, still going strong but i want something new....
I really don't understand this vehicle or who it's targeted at. With AWD I'd get it but without that feature this is little more than a boxing economy car.
It's for people who want a fuel efficient economy car that has great head room, and sits higher off the ground then a sedan or hatchback. Lots of people prefer to sit up a bit higher.
@@edsgarage001 To my mind it seems a little overpriced for what it really is but I guess there's always someone young or old with more dollars than sense. ; )
@@furballbear listen, If you don't like it, that's ok. Lol. But you should know it's competitively priced vs its competition, but constructed out of better steel thanks to Hyundai being the only company that makes their own steel. Plus it has a better ride quality then its competition as well. If it's not for you, no problem. But if you think it's overpriced, then so is the Nissan kicks and the Toyota chr
First of all, I'm NOT AN AMERICAN. And second, believe it or not you're wrong. I pronounce Hyundai, almost exactly the way it's pronounced in Korea. This was even noticed and pointed out to me by a Korean person on one of my videos. Further, please Google "proper pronunciation of Hyundai' and learn how it actually is before assuming that you're correct. Then, take a big bite of humble pie.
@@edsgarage001 As an Australian we have got them down under as well, the nit picker who missed the entire fantastic review of the Venue that you presented. Plse he she or what ever pronoun suits it is not the norm here.

Urgh! I can't stand the way Americans pronounce Hyundai! The Y is NOT silent!
