Very true! I believe health anxiety is the reason behind most of this! Not feeling safe in my body before all this began.

Glad you addressed this because I’m sure there are many people who think reliving trauma or worse trying to find some sort of traumatic experiences in their past is absolutely necessary. It’s a scary feeling when you think if you’re unable to come up with something you’re not going to be able to get better.

Thank you so much for this video. I was thinking that it's just my imagination that I'm not dizzy most of the time from last two days. But I think I was able to turn down the danger mode a little by just watching your and Dan's interaction video. I am sure I'll be able to turn the danger mode off completely if I keep faith in myself and treat myself with love and care. It might not turn off immediately but it will happen definitely and I'm positive about this.
Thank you so much for doing such amazing work.💖

It’s not your imagination!! When this happens, write it down on a post it note and put it somewhere nearby as evidence that what you are experiencing is neural circuit dizziness. This means you can recover.

Hi doc I just subscribed your Chanel. I wanna learn more about this condition of pppd 🙈🙏
Just one question to be sure of something.
Is it Common in your knowledge that people with pppd have problems in dusk?
For me it’s like Everytime dusk Beginns my vision is worse or my pulling moving sansation get stronger ?🧐
I just don’t get the point. When darkness is reached it’s back to baseline but dusk make me feel worse since a year.

Hi dr.Yo! I first want to say thank you so much for being here and helping so much! Also the interview with Megan was super helpfull!!!
I just posted a question on her account, but also really wanted to ask your opinion if i might. So i actually will send you the question i asked Megan.
I really hope you will give me you opinion!
Dear Megan! I want to tell you again how much i have improved because of this video and your interview with dr Yoni. I am really a lot better and more relaxed than 1 week ago!!
But... still there are some things i am worried about and i hope it's ok when i ask you 1 more time, a question..
Since being anxious about pppd, i feel my tight chest all the time on and off, or breathing sensations tight in my throat. I already asked something about that. You told me you experienced it also when feeling axious and through pppd.
Now the thing is, through the day, i feel on and off pppd sensations, and than my mind/ body startles ofcourse. I understand that my breathing reacts on this..But what comes next, is: i am now quite ok with knowing this pppd will dissapear eventually, BUT this tight breath seems to stay with me for a LOT of times now..i try to think : it's ok, its natural to feel a tight breath now... But to be honoust...i am getting worried about it...i keep thinking; Oh no, there i feel it again. It's so unpleasent, it has to go away. When will it go away.. or WILL it ever go away...
I know that is not helping...so .. i was wondering, how did you experience this... and... what helped to feel this tight chest be ok again?
    Thanks DR Yoni.....

Hi Arianne, I'm sure Megan responded as well, but the tight chest (assuming all medical testing has been OK) is another quite common neural circuit symptom. Please consider trying this exercise the next time you have the chest tightness: ua-cam.com/video/1bFcdKX5VAE/v-deo.html

Hi so the journaling helps you understand what got you here and this doesn’t turn off a switch but helps you lower the stress from filling up the bucket?(by understanding how the past creates the patterns) What do we do once we understand how the past experiences lead to the patterns that increase the stress?

    • @TheSteadyCoach
      @TheSteadyCoach  2 роки тому +1

Hi Susan, the first thing is being AWARE when it's happening asking yourself, what discomfort am I trying to avoid by taking this action? That gives you options- it means you no longer people please automatically and can make different choices.

Thank you for the video Yonit! I still have a question though: What if you can’t resolve the trauma that you found out was the trigger for the symptoms? Is it necessary to resolve the trauma or is it only necessary to know what triggered it and to know that it’s just danger mode in your brain? I’m having a really tough time dealing with my trauma and the thought of me having to get rid of that first and then having to get rid of the symptoms on top of that is stressing me out a lot. I hope that makes sense 😅

Hi Dr Y ☺️ thank you very much for sharing ur thoughts on this, very helpful 🙌
I was wondering ur thoughts -i think I've come to a really pretty good understanding of how my upbringing and certain experiences led to my pretty strong traits of ppl pleasing, goodism, perfectionist, hard or critical on my self, worrying, anxiety etc etc (basically all the typical tms traits )basically I can really look back and see and understand it well I think.
I was lucky to have a loving home growing up but the way my parents were with these trsits really rubbed off on me.
So I was wondering what ur thoughts are like I know why I'm like this and I'm working very hard to notice all these tendencies and traits and reframe them thru the day abd choose to nt believe all my negative worrying thoughts etc but I know these traits are a very strong part of my personality -do I just keep being mindful about it now and it will ease up over time?
Thank you for any help 🙏 🦄❤️

Hi Megan! So sorry for the delay, your comment was sent to my spam folder for some reason by YT! Yes, almost ALL of the battle is being AWARE of these traits. That is the only way you can get enough space from them to decide what you want to do. It's the difference between automatic reaction and having a choice! I very much believe that these kinds of traits adapt and soften in time.
