Elation should be much easier for Topaz havers, and since everyone's Ratio is on the way this path should get easier down the line. I did use Kafka a lot before the swarm boss. What I did here was I used Blade, and Jingliu so that she can trigger Blade's follow up attacks. The path resonance does really good damage, the one which uses up resonance energy to do high damage was really helpful for this run. Unfortunately I did not get Wind Damage weakness for the swarm, but getting that would have made things a bit more easier. As usual I went for the path interplay with Abundance and Remembrance. I was careful with the blessings on Remembrance so that Jingliu would prove more useful against the swarm.
Download characters whenever you can, whichever character you think might be useful. Sometimes they help you while resetting against certain bosses. The difference a character can make is day and night.

I *love* running jingliu and blade together! The game play feels so much more engaging/intentional
Oh yeah, it's one of my favorite combo too. A lot of free Blade follow ups. This let's us use Blade with a shielder as well.
Even with Fu Xuan.. it did that much damage in one hit, let alone the DoT made her use her talent twice... yikes.
The third phase of Swarm is so much anti Fu Xuan, most of the times my Fu Xuan dies and rest of the team follows. Sometimes I run Geppard instead.
@@PSMGamingOfficial I can see why you would.. I've never beaten Difficulty 5 myself. But from what I've seen.. Even though you have the meta characters, it's still really hard to beat.
From my experience so far, a lot depends on the blessings you get, and what weakness you get for Swarm. The second phase boss is many times harder to beat than Swarm itself. Also try not to get the disruption points high, like it's best if you can face the boss with 0 or 1. Also try to unlock buffs from those pillars as much as you can, they would make things much easier, for a lot of those objectives you need not complete a full run. Personally I feel Nihility was the easiest path for me, especially if you have Kafka.
@@PSMGamingOfficialif you have kafka and gepard preservation just makes the swarm easy mode. Imagine the most broken tiles mechanic (more cosmic fragments per domain for the number of tiles marked, then an extra blessing for each tile marked), and two most powerful paths for defense and offense having resonance interplay (preservation and nihility, with quake dmg giving massive bleed damage)
I agree, the Preservation - Nihility interplay was so good, I was expecting Preservation run to be dull but this made things so much fun.
