Well, he gave a definition. In an actual spelling bee, they give it to you as part of the sentence, whether it's an action (verb), subject (noun), or enhancer (prepositions, adverbs, and adjectives). It should be noted, however, that they obviously aren't trying to be like an actual spelling bee (even if you ignore the whole bikini wax thing). One of my favorite examples of where they haven't followed Spelling Bee rules is that once you say a letter, you can't undo it. I only know that because 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is an excelent musical.

@@souffle01 I'm an extrovert, but I'm not a party guy. If it's like a "everyone drink booze party", definitely not. If it's "let's go ice skating with our class to celebrate graduating", maybe. I'm a smartass at heart and I use it whenever I can. But here specifically, I was clarifying why Shayne had the right to be annoyed.
Plus it allowed me to share my knowledge of the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a pretty good show, made by the same director as _Falsetto,_ a great one to listen to if you haven't already and, I think it's called _Little Miss Sunshine_ as well. I haven't listened to it, but it was made by him (him being William Finn, with the help of James Lupine).
I love how Rachel is coming up into the front more, and interacting. She seems a lot more comfortable.
