It makes sense why the ISOM ministry took Eric to court - they probably just searched their own name and found countless videos of this "Christian Man" cursing people out and acting a fool.
Is Eric even Christian? I don't recall a time in which he's ever stated religious or non-religious beliefs.
There is no way Obtusegnome emailing the Ministry triggered the lawsuit. It's impossible to build a case and serve someone in 2 days, especially on a trademark case. The ISOM church has been watching everything since the beginning.

I feel the same way, occasionally I feel for the guy, but then I remember how he acted and treated ppl. If he'd shown an ounce of humility, he was already in the right place with CG to learn and improve...and ppl around him were willing to help.

Sometimes I think I'm remiss for enjoying this as much as I do, but then I remember this is a guy who has tried like Hell to construct his own perfect little bubble with perfectly sycophantic people around him and a perfect amount of perfection and the fact that it's still getting tainted like this does amuse me. It's like one of my favorite Yogi Berra quotes: If the world were perfect, it wouldn't be.

Dang, Deric Julyz really put himself into a bad corner, and it's not going to get any better anytime soon.
By the way that podcast is called the Soscast, not S-O-S, it started mainly about finances and business but since has delved into other topics. Dick and Vito are correct, it's a big podcast and has a large audience. I disagree with it being a bad podcast, but it isn't for everyone. I stopped watching it a couple of years ago when their main focus was more marital relationships, that's not quite right but it's the best way I can describe it.

The guy with the long hair is obnoxious. He's over doing it with the laughter. It's not even that funny.
Yeah but he knows it annoys the eff out of Eric. There's an element of performance for sure.
