- The true story of the Mahdi and the Messiah, based on the hadeeth of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
This lecture was held in Newcastle Central Mosque to clarify misconceptions around the topic, particularly in light of the Netflix series 'the Messiah' which has been causing so much controversy and confusion.
Apologies that the video really didn't come out as nicely as we had hoped - there was some flickering fluorescent lighting that we didn't realise was causing issues for the camera.

My journey was started by aqeedah series which is so beneficial for the very beginners and day by day since last couple of years I found ustadh Tim Humble as one of my part of seeking knowledge. I always try to read from authentic books besides I hear from a lot of scholars whom I think they produce speeches according to quran and sunnah. Among them, I swear that I really love ustadh Tim Humble more for our din and for Allah. I am from Bangladesh and I always pray for such a scholar in our country who can give lecture with his eloquent and rhetoric language and make everything seem very easy to understand. May Allah give barakah in his ilm and always keep him in straight path.. Ameen.

MasyaaAllah. A subscriber from Indonesia. Saw a clip of you recently talking about innovation ( bid'ah).
Indonesia is the most populous muslim country in the world but you know sadly there are many innovations in the ibadah are performed here. We are beginning to have more sunnah ustadz in Indonesia, many are also alumni of Madinah University, such as ust. Firanda Andirdja, ust. Abdullah Roy etc.
Indonesians have a certain affinity towards anything western and this also applies to english speaking Dais. Any plan to visit Indonesia ustadz? We have been visited by some popular names in the past but i fear they have yet to follow the interpretation of the Quran and the hadits according to the interpretation of the sahabah.
Perhaps choose a location in Indonesia for your next youth camp, ustadz insyaaAllah.:)

Maybe in the future, I could listen to those other videos and edit them, but I feel like it might be a lot of work for something that doesn't have that much benefit. Allāh knows best. I do have a personal list of videos that I've done, but I'm really hoping to go back to those topics and do them in a better way, with more references and more detail, in shā' Allāh.

I wonder if the Dajjal will cause so much confusion to the Christians. If he can do 'miracles' then it will look like he has the characteristics of a prophet/ God in the flesh. How would they even differentiate between Dajjal and Christ. May Allah guide them to the Truth

You said ALLAH will kill dajal with his own hand as a befitting punishment, i have researched and cannot find this also read the book you said the messiah al dajjal and the descent of of maryam by sheikh albani it says "He will catch up with him at the eastern gate of Lod and will kill him.” so could you reference where it says ALLAH will kill dajjal with his own hand.

Interestingly, in Hebrew the word Messiah (Moshiach) means The Onointed one. According to tanach king and priests were anointed with olive oil. The oil would be poured down on their head when they are elevated to the post.
What is the book he mentioned at the end?

22:30 I am a bit confused by what you say shortly after here. You said that at the end of the hadith it says, "He will never harm a Muslim." Who are you referring to by he? The Dajjal, or Isa, or even the Mahdi? I am confused because I understood it to be in relation to the Dajjal which really confused me because how is he the greatest tribulation without harming a Muslim? I would really appreciate an answer to this because this got me messed up right now...
Okay, later on you make it clearer that it's about the Dajjal. But this is still really weird to me, is he not going to wage war with us?
The DAJAL will never harm a Muslim, not in the sense that the Muslim will not be killed by the Dajal or his army, but the true Muslim ( Not a Munafiq-Hypocrite) will not die as a Kafir!!! And dying as a Muslim should be the goal of every Muslim, therefore Allah's Grace is given to the true Muslims by answering the Prayer when they say; " Oh Allah, make me die as a Muslim". Because this Dunya is cursed as the prophet peace be upon him said and the goal is the lasting life in Jenna!!!

I have watched a few other Islamic videos about the Dajjal and Eesa (AS). In those videos the description of Eesa (AS) has been dark skinned with curly hair and the description of Dajjal is reddish white skinned with straight hair. This is slightly different to the description mentioned in this video
N Y Among the Sheikh’s I have watched was Bilal Phillips. I believe he obtained the description from authentic Hadith

I asked, “Who is this?” They said, “This is the Dajjaal.” The person who looks most like him is Ibnu Qatan.’” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, no. 6508; Ibn Qatan was a man from Banu Mustalaq from Khuzaa’ah).

The best thing about Sheikh Muhammad Tim is that He always talk with the reference of Quran and Hadith in his sermons. Beware of the other utubers who are not scholars and have little knowledge of religion , They just want views nothing else.
Better to watch the videos of Sheikh Tim, Sheikh Omer Sulaiman and Mufti Menk. Generally follow the one who have references from Quran and Hadith .
@@user-zk4wr8ug9j I wouldn't recommend Omer Sulaiman at all. It doesn't appear that he follows the Quran and the sunnah correctly. He has youtube videos where he is giving lectures sitting next to women. In Islam that is not how a teacher of knowledge supposed to give dawah. Allah knows best. May Allah make it easy on all of us to get knowledge of His religion from authentic sources, according to His Quran and the Sunnah. Ameen.

It may seem like, the dajjal will tell the muslims that he is a Nabi (Isa), to the christians that he is their Lord ( as Jesus being the Son of their Lord in their opinion) and to the jews the Masih (The King) as they believe a King like David will return. To the Shia, he will claim to be The Mahdi. Allah knows best.

Dear Brother Tim. We ask Allah to Guide us all. Its imperative upon the da'ee to connect the people with the 'ulema (Shaykh Fawzan, Rabee, Al Albani, Muqbil...). Not doing so is incorrect, it positions you as a scholar (which I'm sure is not your intent), and it leaves us the common people still lost and not connected with the Sunnah, the true way of the Salaf. The Salaf did not do this for 1400 years. They named their teachers. So please we go back to manhaj of the Salaf in da’wah and we connect the people to the right scholars, books, websites, masajid and to the jama'ah. Let's do it correctly. Jazak Allahu Khairan.

Muhammad Bin Salman had the DNA from his mother's side. There are over hundreds of thousand people who have the DNA of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). How do you trace them?
Messiah himself will be the Mahdi. He would lead followers of the Holy Prophet and would be one from among them, not an outsider. To think that the Messiah and the Mahdi are two different persons is wrong. It is against the clear indication in the Tradition: 'The Mahdi is no other than the Messiah.' It behoves good believers to ponder carefully over the utterances of the Holy Prophet. !!!!
Bro shaikh Muhammad al yaqubi is probably one of the most knowledgeable imams with years upon years of knowledge upon you he says Mawlid is not haram or bidah. He is also a direct descendent of our Rasool s.a.w, i would say he is more qualified than yourself so be careful of what you say about our Rasool.
