Briefing Room Music - Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast (Stereo Rerecording)

- Entering the briefing room a Buzz Lightyear animatronic gives guests instructions for the ride and how to defeat Evil Emperor Zurg. Heard in this part of the queue is a special music loop that features less instruments than the version released on the official theme park albums.
We faithfully recreated this music loop (originally arranged by George Wilkins) and also included some alternate variations of the march that is based on the song "Strange Things".
One of the featured instruments heard in the latter half of the clip is the theremin which was used in several alien-related film scores back in the 50s and 60s. Its "gliding" sound is often associated with strange extraterrestrial worlds and is used here to establish the mood for the guest's journey to "Planet Z".
This is beautifully composed! I love it. It's all around Buzz lightyear
Despite not being the original recording it's very close. It had me fooled at first. This is the next best thing. Great work! Also, this is the music for Astro Blasters, not Space Ranger Spin.
Thanks, yes you're right - i keep mixing the attraction name up with the Paris' version "Laser Blast" (where the video footage was shot) :)
@@listentothemeparks2309 Got it. Many versions of this ride share the same look and soundtrack so it's easy to confuse them sometimes. What tools/programs did you use to recreate this?
I used Cubase and various sample libraries, mainly from Kontakt, 8dio and Absynth.
@@listentothemeparks2309 Got it. You must have a pretty good ear to put this all together. I love this ride, it's variants, and their soundtracks but are hard to find online, particularly Space Ranger Spin (the one in Orlando). Astro Blasters/Laser Blast does have the better soundtrack imo, so hearing you put this together was a real treat.
@@adrienthomann2216 It's only recently been easy to find. The Astro Blaster soundtrack has been on an official Disney Parks CD for years now. Granted, that recording has some issues.
Can you do the music with the robots getting the battery
yes
Hello do you mind trying the inside loop of Ripsaw Falls its the tune with the catchy flute
As far as i know the speakers are in the ceiling, so an induction recording is not possible i'm afraid...
Hello, can you record Flight Force audios ? Of the queue and the on-ride ? Please 🙏
Not sure about this. But will take a look...
@@listentothemeparks2309 That would be superb considering no one seems to have them...
@@lucanourry2405👀
There's something wrong at 1:43, I don't know how to explain.
@@adrienthomann2216 yes, there are normally four notes that follow each other higher and higher but here the third is the same as the first. But there are also other little mistakes.
@@adrienthomann2216 Now the most frustrating thing is to know that someone have the source file but this one isn't shared. Still waiting to make a small replica of buzz animatronic...
@@adrienthomann2216 Mais au final, à quoi ça sert donc de partager des fichiers mais ne pas s'en servir ? Je ne vois pas le but...
