And that is why the car drive took place so they would come clean and then the crash that put Chloe in the coma happened. But finding out that Charity was going to Scotland thinking Charity was moving there proved his feelings for Charity clear as crystal inside. After that discussion they reunited for real but in secret until the right time came for Mackenzie to break up with Chloe.
This is just the beginning process of their upcoming reunion. Mackenzie loves Charity. He wants to be with her. He feels nothing for Chloe. Charity just needs to admit that her unresolved feelings for Mackenzie are still there and so is their firey spark. They just need to admit that they still love each other and want their marriage and already-made family with Ryan, Gail,Oscar,Sarah, Noah and Moses back. But when he does break up with Chloe she ends up running off with Reuben and then involves her adopted father Damon"Harry"Harris(Richard Beck) that leads to Harry kidnapping Mackenzie and holding him hostage against his will while Harry forces actually makes Mackenzie hand Chloe full custody rights to Reuben meaning giving up his rights as Reuben's father all to Chloe. And as Harry is about to shoot Mackenzie dead Chas and Charity Dingle arrive and a showdown between Harry and Charity take place in the abandoned factory building and the gun goes off killing Harry. It was an accident though. Harry was going to kill her husband. She got in the way when the gun went off and she actually saved Mackenzie's life. Charity knows that she saved her husband's life from Harry about to kill him. He's lucky to even be alive and there with you Charity. You're the reason he's safe and he's ok. But the constant nightmares about Harry are haunting Charity right now and seriously she needs to tell Mackenzie or talk to a therapist about it and I know for a fact that counseling therapies are no good and not very helpful especially when you have to relive it all again and relive every gory detail of the traumatic event.

Harry in his ugly nasty manipulative mentally screwed up kind of way told Chloe to say that Mackenzie doesn't exist and that he is nothing to her and Reuben. And nor is Amy and Kyle. Harry kidnaps Mackenzie and holds Mack hostage in some abandoned building in the middle of nowhere after Mack and Charity argued and he stormed out into the arms of very dangerous Damon "Harry" Harris Chloe's adoptive father that Chloe reached out to for help. It's all Chloe's fault that Mackenzie has been kidnapped and apart from Charity for this long. Chloe seriously needs to take Reuben and go to the police about Harry. Especially after she finds out about what Harry did to Chas,Cain and Caleb before his true identity of being Chloe's adoptive father was revealed. Harry plans to severely injure and torture Mackenzie to the brink of killing Mackenzie. But hopefully it doesn't come to that especially when Chloe decides to report her adoptive father Harry to the police knowing all too well that her adoptive father Harry has Mack.
Could this be a turning point for Mackenzie and Charity after everything they've been suffering after finding out about Reuben and then Mackenzie and Chloe etc. Could them sleeping together be something like a mini reunion for Mackenzie and Charity because I know that what Moses would want happen aye.
