This really worries me I cannot understand how you get so few likes on your channel. And I think it is one of the best for the average DIY person. Its good work very helpful and sometimes quite funny. All the best and please keep going.
Thank you for the kind words.
This is the best video for this on UA-cam. Even better than Haynes Manual. Many thanks!!
Glad that the video is of use.
Thanks, I did enjoy it and also learned from it. I'll be checking out some of your other videos after this!
Hi there, glad you liked it. Thank you for your support. HK🦾

Hi bro
I have skoda rapid 1.6 TDI
For clutch replace should i drop subframe or not
Thanxs
Hi! I don't think that is necessary, I do think there is enough room to remove the gearbox without doing that.
@@TheDutchGarage
Thanxs for your help
Cheers
I have a a1 that i changed the rear bushing and the shocks and and hearing a knocking noise don't knock if it is from the shock mount
It is possible, but what I had one time was a bad new shock that was knocking.
Hello there! I have a question. I need to change my rear shock absorbers. I opted for a kyb ultra. But my big question is: does kyb supply also the lower axle screws with the shock absorbers? If not, where I can get those? And thanks, with your videos I've done a lot of things on a lot of cars in my family. Keep up with the great videos!! :D
Most come without bolts, sometimes you can get them in the aftermarket or else contact the dealer.
@@TheDutchGarage Well, thanks a lot. So I'll discover if has bolts or not when the package will be delivered XD Hope y'all doing well with this disease around the world. Have a great time buddies!
@@cromazalex Don't let fear get to you, just be sure to wash your hands and face.
@@TheDutchGarage I'm planning to do the timing chain next month, so I think I'm fool enough 😂😂 Indeed, do you have some tips about it?
@@cromazalex you definitely need new bolt as my bottom bolt came off ok but didn't got back on as it got stripped so now waiting for a new one to come in the post so have to take all tyre off again only if I new this before would of ordered one but it be even better if these sellers supplied all new bolts with the new rear shocks
When installing the bearing, does it stop where necessary for you to tighten it? As in does it keep sliding down the shock or will it just stop?
It rests on the shoulder of the shaft. Then just tighten it.
can you spin the bearing after you tighten the nut on the shaft? or do you need to position the bearing before tighten it so it fits in its place on the car with the bottom bearing?
The best thing to do is put the car on the ground and then tighten the bodem bolt.
Thanks!
No problem!
Hi, my shocks look old and one of them has oil all over them which I assume isn't normal. There is also a knocking sound coming from the wheel with the oily shock. Do you think that bad shock is causing the banging sound? Thanks
Hi there, that's I think a good guess. If there is no pressure in the shocks the parts are just rattling around. But then again it can also be a drop link, top mount or ball-joint. But I think the shock is a good place to start.
The Dutch Garage Thankyou! I will get some new shocks and hopefully it can fix the problem. Great video by the way :)
Very good job!more video for polo5?
This is the last one for now. But there is a playlist if you want more.
