Brilliant!! The attack on the B17's was terrifyingly violent - sounds added a lot. I loved the dive scene and his efforts to pull it up. The Mustang appearing was very good, very menacing. You managed to fit a lot of story into a short movie and to create some attachment to the main character. Well done.
Absolutely Amazing! Well done! In the book 'Flames in the sky' however, the 262 was shot down by a Tempest (one of the only a/c that could stay with a 262). This was based on an engagement recounted by Pierre Clostermann in 'le Grand Cirque'. Great video! Keep up the good work.
You are correct, several ME-262 were shot down by Tempests but the first to shoot it down was a Mustang that outmaneuvered the ME, the first shot down for russia was shot down by La-7B. The Me pilot made a mistake and tried to shoot down the La from behind wich is very hard due to the La's extreme agility.

Dr kop: This is a milestone il2 movie; Very well done! Fantastic sound, very good angles and nice filtering! Pilot head was very well done. Radio communication voicing very good. Very very good ending. Small crit from my viewpoint: 1) too many IL2 fly by shots; in reality a cam can not move so quickly with a fly by. 2) The animated figures at the end lacked life like realism, the pilot head was better.
Great vid. 5*** !!! The only thing I have to say is that for next film you should ask some German to record German voice for you. Sorry, but as an German I can hear that it sounds a bit "east european german". awaiting more vids from you BEST EVER ANIMATED VID !!!

Hm that were many programs, main game is Il2 1946, but he used many other programs to create the effects, cut them over the footage from Il2, add the sounds, and cut the video, but I don´t know this programmes, but I think you want to know the plane fight simulator.
@cvonta but walter nowotny was shot down by landing too he could jump out of the cockpit but he crashed into his tail unit my house is maybe 20 miles away from the old base of nowotny where he died greetings from germany
