There's no $$$ in either. If you succeed independently on your own good luck getting paid from the Streaming services. On top of that you'll need about 5K streams to make the same amount as selling 1 Album. So it's a lose lose. The corruption is just to large. That's why alot of old school huge artists are all selling their publishing. And remember good luck getting paid from the Streaming services. They don't pay. We have over a billion streams with 7 lps and are getting $20.00 a month. It's Been 5 yrs. So it's all a scam. Take your $$$ and invest in realestate. Stay away from this corrupt business.
