Santiago and jansons are the real bonafide editors so good in conveying the message while also immersing the audience in the narratives with supporting visuals rather than showing off the effects they learnt. that storytelling aspect is so important than the show off technical stuff you are evaluating. I think to ft exactly the animation style of the MagnatesMedia video asks for the speed of the sound and the type of animation, if I'm not mistaken. Because according to the Clip sample rate it is a bit faster...
I would say so, since you can do some basic 3D stuff in after effects. If you want to customize even a little bit it's not possible. Not only that, blender is quite easy if you just know the basics. Like you don't have to know all the advanced stuff to even create a simple 3D animation.
