hello guys， some more hints from YAN, if you wanna get code from plc and upload to your PC. You must pre-installed the GSD file which used by the project in PLC (if no GSD, no need). Second, you need same version of TIA portal which is utilized to program the PLC. Otherwise you can’t get the code.😘

hi Phillipe. please make some tutorials on LAD programming with both digital i/o and analog i/o. at least in a series videos from beginning to the end. from hardware selection and tag creation to the HMI control. having for example all the topics you have mentioned (OBs, Timers, counters, flipfliops and PID controller.) that video ALONE would be the best Source for TIA Portal in the whole Internet, Please!!! ☺☺😊🙏🙏

Nice. Very useful. I have tried some stuffs like this with P&F absolute encoder to measure leg length of jack up rigs. One thing I suggest to add in part 2 video that is "Telegram" .
How could we use standard or siemens telegram to get input and transfer output to the other device like encoder or Vfd?
Also with example, how does these telegram Dint data value work on external devices like encoder or Vfd?

May I ask a question, I build the modbus communication between Rockwell plc and S7-410smart by using CP modules (my real experience), but I don’t need GSD file. So if I have GSD file installed, no need configure the communication (including use PSend PReceive block?)

Hi! Can you help me? I'm using a weighing module with profinet GSD, the manufacturer tells that the weighing signal is 16 bit. I originally used UDInt so that's 32 bits if I remember correctly.
It worked king of ok because I didn't noticed the length, because I was following another manufacturer tutorial and for them it was 32 bit.
On Monday I'm going back to check if the 16 bit approach worked.
The question is, how are inputs managed? I can work with a normal " %IW100" for example? Or should them be input as peripheral ? " :P%IW100 " I need it to work.
The first time I used the module I only had one scale, but this time is 2 scales which the module is capable of, the thing is that the bits may overlap if I don't use them correctly, it's 16 bits for one signal and then the next immediate 16 bits for another
