This is a beautiful album. I've been listening to it every now and then for some time, but I listened it way some more during the last days I shared with my 14 year old cat, when I knew she was sick and was going to die anytime soon. Now her memory lives in this album, for me. Not to ruin it for some people, or to sound depressing, this album symbolizes calm and positive things for me, but that's the reason why I listened with her as well, to give her those feelings in her last days. I will always miss this cat so much, she accompanied me through most of my life. This is majestic art
Hi , I have been listening to this music for the past 2 Hrs testHiFi, it is amazing. Vintergrav SkogKatt , Dan Caine Rivers Especially this one. I have just recently restored my transmission line loudspeaker cabinets with some new drivers and as I said this sounds amazing. Do you have put together some great compilations of music. Phil from the moulin France
Love and light enter my soul. Dance with the fiery care of the forest. All the way up til the tip top of the sky. Thank you for this magical journey Dan!
Memories of ones complicated, Confusing, rapidly declining brief Existence. Some laughter, some of loss. Mingled together, In a melancholy moment, then, back to the now, again.
This is why I subscribed to "The Woods", music like this is both calming and invigorating. I also, after hearing this, and subscribing to the artists page.
The source! Cant stop listening to it. Especially the last part of the song. Really hits the feels! Its absolutely beatiful. Huge talent this guys have! Keep making more like these! ^^ ❤
I'm loving the album, already listened to it a number of times. Rivers are very special to me, as I've always lived by one. By the way, could I use this music as background in a livestream? I do D&D and RPG type content. I would definitely give you a shout out and put a link to your work.
the foto seems edited, however I am already looking at it though something that simulated this (screen) real, simi real or fake as the title and people will tell "cry me a river"
I really want to enjoy it, but there is something unsettling about this album. It takes all that's good in Ulvesang and Black Hill/Silent Island and adds something unnatural and synthy that rips me out of the 'natural'. It's pretty good, but it doesn't get that gold feeling from the aformentions bands.
By unnatural and synthy I assume you mean the guitar effects. In my opinion it's a nice touch and makes this album different and unique. After all it's an album composed by a different artist and we shouldn't expect it to be like the other albums. Everyone's got their own style.
I hope everyone enjoys the album! Many thanks to In The Woods for sharing it. :)
Very nice atmosphere, love it!
man, you are awesome. I love ppl who share their talent to the world, especially in these harsh times. I try to do the same.
Listening now, enchanting!
Loved it Dan!
Very beautiful & melodic
Can't get enough of post-rock...
The blurry sides are such a trip. They are so bright and vivid, brings flashbacks of a life that i've left behind.

Lovely stuff (:
This is a truly beautiful masterpiece.
Thank you,

somestimes, post-rock just falls short of being a continuation of psychedelic rock. here, this clearly shows.
👌
Des mélodies moelleuses & réconfortantes, cette narrative des rivières est très plaisante , merci 😊
3 of these I particularly enjoyed. Can you guess?
Post-rock? Have I become that old? I still think Foghat is contemporary music. Gah...

Oversaturation is the current meme in nature photography and it's really annoying.
They Are doing it on bbc documentaries about Scotland at the moment.
