If anybody is coming to any university town in Ontario, start looking for accommodation sooner than latter. Most of the immigrants (PR), students and temporary workers generally comes to Ontario. Naturally there is a pressure for rental places.

Divya, When are you arriving? If you are arriving in peak Winter, make sure you keep at least 3 sets of winter clothes. Rest you can get from here.
It’s good to buy thermals from India - I bought mine via Amazon India and they were very useful for the kids.
Also, full sleeve pyjama sets will also be cheaper in India.
