One thing I always wonder is...what happens when the collection is complete? I feel like the hook of collecting is that there's always something missing...
I imagine there will always be super niche characters that Hasbro will never get to, especially since the Legends EU is so expansive. Plus, Star Wars continues to grow, so at least for the foreseeable future, there will always be new content to pull from for figure releases.
For the OT you are definitely right. Eventually there will be no one left to make. However there will always be more coming out and they still have to really get to making the prequel figures as well and that will be a while lol
If they could actually find a true, genuine balance between PT era, OT era, the movies, the Clone Wars, Rebels, video-games, Legends/EU, and augment all of that with the new media...I can see the line going for a really long time. I mean specifically with the OT. Yeah we have the main hero characters but I can think of endless figures between Star Wars 77 and Return of the Jedi. -Justin
Don’t have to wonder too hard, just look what happened to the Kenner line in 1985.
Also keep in mind they can always redo characters and make new superior figures, and between newer collecters buying them and veteran collectors upgrading their collections thats a good market
I'd like to see a deluxe snowtrooper 2-pack with an e-web repeating blaster, as well as Lobot and Rieeken. Also that female rebel officer than got a 3.75" TBS figure way back when, Toryn Farr or whatever.

The biggest thing I want from ESB in TBS is to complete the Bespin lineup, so gimme Lobot, Ugnaughts, Bespin Guards, and Red Dress Leia!

Great list! My main wants from this film are centered around Bespin (ugnaughts, Bespin guards, Leia in the gown, and Lobot). I’d be happy just getting that whole third act of the movie in figure form.

Good job on the solo vid Justin. Agree with a bunch of the things on the list! I must say after hearing the idea of it, one of my absolute wants is an updated Snowtrooper! Definitely need Lobot, Bespin Leia, Dagobah R2, just so many options from the best Star Wars movie!

Definitely need a lot of redos for Empire. Boba, Hoth Luke, snowtrooper, etc. I'd definitely be down for a bacta tank Luke. They could include the medical droid. I'd like a general rieeken to go with my rebel soldiers.

I'm not sure my ESB shelf can handle a bacta tank...the wampa and tauntaun take up a lot of room...but I'd give it a go 😂 I had to put the Probe Droid on a different shelf as it is 😅

I’m still not happy with the head sculpt on Bespin Luke. Better than first but still off. This is many fans favorite version of Luke. Need to get it right
Hello Justin great solo video today, I appreciate it. A great list of Empire characters that we still need in black series figures.
Imperial Snow Trooper figure remake is top of my list resculpts
Luke dual with Vader would be great, he could come with option medical arm piece.
Just a couple of figures that were forgotten 2 are technically repaints.
1. Cloud Car Pilots
2. K-3P0 white droid Hoth Base
3. Silver Protocol droid on Cloud City that told 3P0 to "Eat Sh*t And Die". Well that's what I hear that droid saying before 3P0 says "How Rude!" 😂
Definitely down for Bacta Tank Luke with 2-1B and F-X7 and Red Gown Leia.
Both black and white Cloud City Guards with face plates would work for me.

I continue to advocate for getting all the original Kenner figures from the OT into the black series first and foremost. That’s where my wishlists always start.
To you’re point we are close to getting there with ESB. There are only 8 remaining figures we need. 5 of them are Bespin related and 3 of them are Hoth related. You have hit on almost all of them here.
Hoth related figs still remaining are a generic Hoth rebel commander, FX-7, and 2-1B. Now that ep 3 Palps and droideka are coming, 2-1B is my most wanted figure overall. I think the design of the character is really cool, and have a lot of good memories of playing with that original figure as a kid. If done well, I think it could be the best droid figure in the entire line.
From bespin the only one you missed is the cloud car pilot. very random barely seen character in the films with a really funky costume but I had it when I was a kid, had a cloud car to put him in, I want him on my black series shelf.
I always want more military officer types, especially on the rebels side to balance out all the imps we get so I am definitely down for Reikken and Ozzel. Any character that Vader chokes out we need in the line!
2-1B and FX-7 2-pack would be awesome! And yeah I thought about the Cloud Car Pilots...but I feel ike it'd just sting with having the pilots of ships/vehicles we don't have. Yes to all on the list! Crazy thing is too, with reuse, so many of these could utilize other parts. Lobot is my biggest want from ESB: he could literally be the Lando with different upper body and head

General veers! I personally would love a re-release of him. I would pass on boba though, way too many versions of him already. Love the work!
Veers should just get a galaxy packaging rerelease. He's quite expensive. Such an excellent figure, too. -Justin
I'm glad we got an excellent Rebel figure with the Hoth Trooper. Perhaps one of the best figures of the line, especially since it came out at standard price. The Endor trooper is my preferred style, but the Hoth one has better articulation and detail

Apart from the hideous omission of my favourite multi-armed medical 'druid' FX-7!! 😂 And his brother FX-6.... and their sister, FX-5... Love the idea of messed up Bezzy Luke. I have a 3.75 version with removable hand and bacta glove, with a hideous non-likeness to Mr Hamil. I'd rip your arm off for Bacta Luke, General 'Wrekin,' White 3p0, different Whebel Soldiers, like TVC and some random "Womans" in the Hoth control center. With regards to Empire being the best film of all time, I've veered for 3 decades now, between that and Aliens...

ESB is a masterpiece of a film! It’s my all time favorite movie! It was also the first Star Wars movie I watched.

Me too, I saw it in the cinema aged 6
World building characters like 2 1b and lobot are missing needs we have along with many other characters throughout the franchise. I have no problem getting these “boring” characters,and if they are so worried about interest,add that accessory even if it’s a related world building one, like a tool ,weapon,or box seen in the movie their depicted in.Idk I just want these guys released and for hasbro to see a reason why to continue to pursue new figs that aren’t Disney+ related.great video though I don’t think I could possibly add.

The Black Series should make all 3. I would also say when they do these new figures the original 96 should always be made.

All your suggestions are great. I've hankered for a new Snowtrooper for a while. The one they did is hampered by the kama and has twrribly skinny legs. Make the kama softer. Same for the face and neck covering. Chest overlay and butterfly joints.
How about the Jeremy Bulloch (the original Bobba Fett actor) Imperial officer who uses Leia as a human shield on Cloud City?
I had the 2-1B medical droid as a kid (3 3/4") so I'd like him.

Other than the your excellent choices. I'd like to see the following: Snowtrooper Commander, Capt. Needer, Wedge Antillies & Hobbie Klivian (Snowspeeder Pilots), FX-7, Rebel Maj. Bren Derlin, Bespin Cloud Car Pilot (Just so its Represented, may be give it a alternative face plate ), Imperial Lt. Sheckil (played by Jeremy Bulloch). I'd definitely like to see a Bacta Tank in the collection, especially if I can hook it up to a fish tank air supply unit, would also like to see an E-Web Cannon included as well. As for Ozzel and Rieekan would be essentials for me.

FX-7, Dak, Rouge 2 Pilot, Captain Needa, and a Tauntaun I'd what I would like to see for The Black Series

I personally would like an updated Taun Taun. Give us Han’s, or Luke’s with the busted cracked in half horn (or was that Han’s….🤔), or a 2-pack of both. The one we got way back in the blue line could do for a modern 2024 update, and we’re so SO FAR behind on creatures.
Another honorable mention take-it-or-leave-it character could be Rebel Force Pilot Zev, the Rogue One SnowSpeeder Pilot that finds Han/Luke after their night out surviving Hoth snowstorm and reports back to Echo Base he found them. He also leads Rogue Squadron into battle against the AT-ATs. We could also use him as an alternate pilot for our old BS SnowSpeeder vehicle. Just a thought.
Lastly, as for a 6” scale play set, instead of Luke’s bacta tank, I would drool for Vader’s Meditation Chamber, and perhaps an updated helmet-less Vader with his scared up head in full display. We can set it up with him sitting there with a claw gripping his helmet and Piett peering in from the outside. How bad ass would that look on the ESB shelf…🤤

I would love to see an updated Hoth Rebel soldier/captain. instead of face plates, removable heads, googles with a rubber band rather than the string and blast effects with portholes in some new blasters/ rifles. Even a slight color change on the uniform would be cool to mix with the previous released. Throw a small Cannon with it and make it a 2 pack.

Snowtrooper is in desperate need of a remake/improved figure. WITH a cloth skirt piece. Even for back in 2016 that figure was immobile and even just better arms and a cloth skirt would be a huge improvement. It really does need a complete remake though.
And I agree, how do we not have a Lobot yet?! There's lots of figures I still want from Empire but no Lobot is a glaring hole. On that note, how about a redo of Cloud City Lando?

T!! See if you can buy the original 3.75 eweb kenner version, known more technically as the "Tripod laser canon!" 😅 I've added a base to mine of a connector nut welded to a washer and it scales really well with my 6 inch Snowie squad.

Hey there Justin, I think that Hasbro should remake the 6"inch SW Black Series Landi Calrissian with a cloth fabric cape from TESB instead of a hard vinyl one as well a fabric cloth cape on the younger version of Lando from Solo:A Star Wars Story which was a good film regardless of what the critics think about the film. So what do you think of this idea of mine?

They did a Bacta tank Luke like 20 years ago and Mark Hamill has said that and the 3.75 black series degobah training Luke are his least favorite figures ever made of him.
