Huh, with deck names like that i would have thought this was modern.
Which is something since it was obvious that this is the format where Nadu belongs since this is the kind of card that is made for Legacy and not Modern
I get it with Nadu but Ruby Storms been around for a few years now in legacy. Ever since Birgi was printed its been a genuine deck. Maybe never above tier 2 but at least a legit legacy deck.
Yea, they’re pretty much the two current meta modern decks with legacy upgrades
@@tedayism.3101Actually. Ruby Storm was a Legacy exclusive Deck till MH3 (which reprinted the namesake card (Ruby Medallion, originally from Tempest, one of the MTG's earliest sets) for Modern, Historic and Timeless).
On the other side Bant Nadu revolves around a card that was blatantly obvious that it was meant for Legacy/Vintage (hence how broken it is) but was printed in MH3 in order to get Legacy Players (which are known for rarely looking into sets unless something is really broken) interested in the product itself since there's not a specific product that would directly inject it into Legacy (sans the Commander Precons but most Legacy Players don't care about these since they see Commander as a weaker format meant for Casuals only with only very few cards from them causing any interest mostly because some player rebuilt their Commander decks to work in Legacy/Vintage which is the only constructed formats these are legal on)
So in the end, we're looking at 2 Legacy Decks that are playable in Modern. Not the other way around
@@alpha34098 Depends how you look at it. Yea Ruby storm was already a thing, but they also just got Ral who you forget solidifies the deck in modern, and yea it was obvious Nadu was made for stronger formats. Doesn’t take any truth away from my previous comment

Nadu in legacy seems meh
@@MTHEORY303 Because of the power level of Legacy/Vintage being so high, cards that normally would broken in other formats like Modern and Pioneer are things that would be normal to see in Legacy/Vintage.
That's why Nadu (which is very broken in Modern) feels average here. And also this is why I said Nadu is meant for Legacy/Vintage rather than Modern (just like Hogaak)
So far, Nadu is a nice addition to Legacy.
Get surveil out of legacy, its ruining the format, bring back scry lands, and filter lands!
