Exept that this is very unnatural for the panda. HIghly artificial. I hope they get proper advice how to adjust this cement and glass prison into something more natural a panda habitat soon before the pandas get depressed and ill.

How more unnatural can this setting be for a panda. GLass concrete and cement environment, and surrounded by loud human noise. THis poor panda - this is insane.
Why is the glass not screened properly? That’s not good. This is going to get these panda very confused, frustrated and depressed. And noises are very loud.
All zoos who have got panda bears MUST post at least twice a week weekly videos of the panda bears. This is to show us of the zoos commitment of taking care of the panda bears. The video showed that the panda was alone. If compared to China, there were many zoo keepers who took care of the panda bears, especially the panda cubs, seeing nannies Mei and fellow nannies sweeping dried leaves, etc. I am sure the panda bears expected to see all that. To be enclosed to be showcased like that, is just not right.

They are solitary animals. Male and female will meet up only in mating season which is about two days in a year, and sometimes with a fight first 😂
