Hi doc, how did you apply for visa 482, is it offered by the employer or personal preference nyo po yung visa 482?
And yes nag PLE muna ako then moonlight before ako nagapply

Out of topic but how does the work culture in australia differ from the philippines, in terms of number of patients, work lord, colleagues and seniors
Hi to answer your questions
1. Number of patients and work load- halos same lang madami din po sa ward and ED, ang HMO/RMO near registrar na din ung level ng responsibility lalo na kunh walang reg. Pero hindi ko alam and di ko.maexplain somehow it feels lighter, cguro kasi ang dami mong mapagtatanungan and as HMOs pag wala kang Registrar pwede ka tumawag directly sa consultants.
2. Wala naman seniority in terms of uutus utusan ka. Kasi kunyari kung busy ung interns or hmo, kahit reg or consultant nagproprocedure (iv cannula, ngt, IDC).
3. At the end of the shift hnd mo need mag overtime kasi may sasalo, pwede ka maghandover ng tasks kasi sign of Inefficiency din sknla if you stay very late from work. Bsta sila.dito if working hours work lang, pag uwi mo sa house wala na maghahabol sayo ng mga bagay na di mo nagawa or natapos as long as naihandover or naendorse mo sa kapalitan
Colleagues mababait lahat and respectful, regardless of gender, age or IMG/local graduate
As long as you are doing your job, your colleagues will always be thankful for the efforts of the day.
Wala pa akong naging issue sa mga colleagues ko except ung language and accent at first HAHAHHAAHHA
Good day Doc, would like to ask if even with a limited registration and going through the WBA route, are you already being paid for working in their hospital or is this basically an unpaid internship program?
Yes po, as long as you are employed, you get paid. Here in Australia their Interns are already earning. Unlike in the PH where we do 2yrs of unpaid internship years :)
But if you'll do observerships, that's the time you wont get paid and I've heard that you would have to pay some hospitals to get an observership with them po :)
