I know for a fact that the road rash on the lower doors will not last especially on a Porsche. This is a patented method called SSR sprayless scratch repair. I have been doing this for 14 years. It is effective, but the camera lies a bit because it does not pick up everything. SSR is out of Texas and has been around for at least 17 years

That’s brilliant, can’t wait to try. Quick question re: the polishing pad, do you have to wash it afterwards in any special solution to remove elements of the paint ?
Foam pads can be maintained dragging a screwdriver across a DRY pad at high speed. This will remove the abrasives/foreign material in the pad. Careful to angle the bit so it’s not too aggressive OR pointing into the rotation. Haven’t tried on wool or terry cloth, but it works great on foam.

Hi, thank You for the video. I’ve tried Your method. I’ve used the spray paint from can with exact number of color to match with my car’s color. But I didnt spray it directly on a car, I made few sprays to a cup and then I applied to a car with my finger - as was shown in video. The paint seemed a bit transparent and too much liquid, so I aplied 2 layers and then waited about ten minutes and then it was literaly IMPOSSIBLE to get the coulour out with the rotary pad 🙈 So how long time is best to wait? 3, 5 minutes? Is the colour cured, when you begin to polish it, or is it still sticky to touch ? Thank You!

@@pixelbath2131 Thanks, that sounds like it might work. My plan is to simply carefully place a layer or two of (metallic) color paint into the chip "hole", then fill with clear and sand down with 1000 then 2000, then polish. these chips are about 2 - 5 mm diameter
There's a similar kit I've used on the front of my last black car. One part was thick black pain, 2nd part was remover. The paint sat in the chips and hid them.
