Trying Alcohol Markers! ✿ Ohuhu Markers - Розваги
Hi! Thank you so much for watching ! Have you tried these markers? Let me know down below!
i have not used these markers but have a similar version of them that I use to make my drawings
ahh I'm obsessed with the way you draw! You layered the markers so beautifully to create an amazing piece :D
Aw thank you so much!! ❤️
You are a color magician, Emily!! It's so fascinating how you build the layers!!
Color magician! I LOVE that 😂❤️ Thank you so so much!
Do the larger sets of ohuhu markers include the pastel set you have??
This video was so much fun tonwatch. You're such a great artist!!
Such beautiful work, especially the way you select and work with colour. I’m new to your work and perhaps you’ve spoken about it already but could you possibly talk about how you choose colours and how you know what effect the different colours will have on each other? Awesome video❤ would love to see your digital process
Thank you so much Bex! I have been wanting to make a video about colour for a while, but I'm still trying to figure out how I would approach the topic and which medium I should use to explain it.❤️ I will definitely be sharing my digital process soon! 😊
The pastel colours are so beautiful and by the end of it it looked like watercolour. I have the pretty basic lineup of 48 colours so it doesn't have quite the range, but its a great introduction to markers
Thank you so much! I love how these markers get that soft/watercolour look. A 48 set sounds perfect for getting into markers and doing some fun sketching! 💛
The pastel set looks so cool! I'm used to work in layers with watercolor, i love when you can build up the shadows, so i'm really tempted to purchase it! I love your portraits, they are amazing ❤
I immediately subbed! LOVE YOUR STYLE! And your voice is very easy to listen too! I just spent over 6 hours swatching and organizing my 320 Honolulu set! Soooo worth it. Cant wait to use them while I binge on your vids!
Love both portraits!! Always a pleasure to watch your art come together, layer by layer :)
Thanks so much Eliza! I really loved how these markers layered 😊
I love how you can tell that it's your work no matter what medium you use 😊 beautiful work, Emily!
Aw that is so cool to hear 😊 thanks so much Gemma! ❤️
i'd def love to see how you work digitally. I love how these marker portraits came out! ive been debating buying ohuhu markers for a while now since i dont really use markers but this has helped make the decision that im def gonna get them now :D
ooh fantastic! I'll definitely share my digital process in a future video! I didn't expect to love markers as much as I do! I hope you have fun with these if you get your hands on some 😄 Thanks so much for watching!!
My main markers are copics- mainly because when I started they were my only option where I live. But I did get a set of pastel ohuhus and a set of basic colors just like you for sketching and playing around, and they were really fun.
Also I love how you add greens to the skin it really makes your colors pop 😍
Ah I hear ya! I have a few copics (and they're great!) but I always found them a little intimidating! 😅 I love that Ohuhu makes alcohol markers more accessible/ affordable. Also, thank you so much! I have been loving my greens lately! Thanks so much for watching ❤️
This is the level I hope to achieve, especially to do some portraits of family and friends. They look so awesome!
Love your style!! So magical to set it all come together! 😍😍😍
Thank you so much Deepthi! ❤️❤️
Normally these brand videos are taps and click bait, but you are giving us the real tutorial. So grateful, impressed, and delighted to be a new subscriber!!! ❤❤❤
Wow! Your artwork is lovely!
I loved how you used these so much!!
Thanks so much Raquel! ❤️
I'm so impressed by how you can draw and paint in any medium 😍 I'd love to see you do a digital painting process video!
Thank you so much! ❤ Hoping to do a digital process video soon!
love to see how you use these markers! Your color choices are so fun and interesting and I love how you carried over your blocky style. I want to try adding some more color variation in my next study. so beautiful!
Also yes -- would love to see your digital process!
Thank you so much Amy! Playing with color is always so much fun 😊 Hoping to share my digital process soon!
I'm always blown away by the way you make art. If you want to do a digital painting video I'd say go for it!
Aw thanks so much Jaq! I thought it could be fun to switch things up 😊
I love the painterly effect of your style💜
Thanks so much! 😄
I keep coming back to this video, I just love it so much. Love your approach to alcohol markers, would be nice to see more of it ❤
I'm so happy you enjoy this video! 💕 I really want to make another alcohol marker video again soon 😊
More digital art stuff please!! I'm sure lots would love to see videos of both. 🖤
Yes, would LOVE to see your digital drawing process too please!
Thank you for reminding me that this is something I want to do soon! 😊💕
I never would have thought to approach using markers like water color since I tend to think of them as a more “graphic.” Medium in that they add a solid pop of color but your technique for using them might just be something I have to try in the future!
So beautiful!!! Your style is lovely! I'd be so interested to see you digital art process!
Thank you so much! I'll definitely share my digital process soon 😊
I LOVE URE VIDOES SOO MUCH ! URE SUCH A ROLE MODEL FOR ME AND I LOVE BINGE WATCHING URE VIDEOS EVERY SINGLE DAY!❤
Aww thank you so much!! 🥰🥰 I'm so glad you enjoy them!!
It would be really fun to watch about your digital painting process too! Anyway, I love the way you use shapes and work with values and colors! 💗
Thank you so much Juily! 😊
What I love about them is that they sell refills, too, so these markers feel way more personal, because you can keep them for a very long time. You can even get new nibs 🥰
Yes!! How cool is that?! 🤯
I loooove the pastel set 🤩🤩🤩 love your art 🌞
Thanks so much!! 😊
Your portraits were amazingggg ✨🫶🏼😭
I looooveee your videos so much. 🥹
Thank you so much! ❤️ I have so many videos planned for the upcoming weeks! 😄
I loveeeee Ohuhu markers
I went from only using paint to using Ohuhu markers basically religiously
They're fantastic! Definitely a new favorite medium for me 😍 Thanks for watching!
I felt comfortable while watching your video
EVERY DANG medium you use, you kill it. Keep up the amazing work :) love watching you create. I've never used Ohuhu markers but this video is making me want to invest lol
Aw thanks so much Nikkole! ❤️ I had way too much fun with these haha
LITERALLY OBSESSED! u r making me wanna use markers again!! 😄
That's amazing to hear! Thank you so much 🥰
Yes, I’d love to see a video on your digital process!
Aw great! I'll definitely make one soon! 😊
Loved this video!❤
I'm so glad ❤️ thank you Lyssa
I love Ohuhu markers and you've reminded me to use them again as they've been kind of neglected lately. Your portraits are awesome, it was interesting watching you work 😍 I'd also be really interested in seeing your digital process. I've been working a lot on my iPad recently and really enjoying it. It's nice to see an artist who embraces traditional and digital! ❤
I have officially joined the Ohuhu fan club! 😍
I'm hoping to make a video on my digital process soon! I really love being able to switch between drawing traditionally and drawing on my ipad! They both have different things to offer, but I think they can inform each other. Thanks so much for watching! ❤️
@@emhuesart ❤❤❤
Please please do a digital art process. I would be interested. Also I LOVE Chris hong too. You, her, and jess Karp are some of my favorite artists
It’s funny u mentioned Chris Hong in this I just discovered both of u recently. You’re both so talented ❤!
Your artwork is incredible!😍✨
Thank you so much! 💗
I'd love to see your digital process! I paint digitally a lot, especially portraits, and it's always nice to see different approaches and learn from them.
I've tried Ohuhu markers as well and I think they blend amazingly, but they have by far the strongest smell of all the alcohol markers I own, to the point where using them makes me feel unwell. Love the blocky painterly style you achieved with them, it makes me want to try something similar sometime!
Yay! I'm excited to share my digital process with everyone. I also love seeing how others work digitally!
I had to go give my ohuhus a sniff after reading your comment 😅 I see what you mean. I'm usually very sensitive to smells and I didn't notice- but perhaps I will now haha! I think maybe they more alcohol in them than other markers? They are super wet! I hope you get a chance to have some more fun with them though. Thanks so much for watching Blue! ❤️
I'm starting to get convinced of these markers..
These are some of my absolute favorite markers, the brush tip absolutely mimics Copics, I also love how the lighter shades still pack a great color payoff for layering!
And a fraction of the price. Which I appreciate.
I couldn't believe how lovely they were at layering! A new favorite of mine for sure! Thanks so much for watching :)
Your drawings are wonderful!! Thank you.
Thank you for watching!! 😄💛
Lovely sketches, markers are so much fun! If you find the white gel pen too bright in certain applications you can tone it down w more marker after it dries~ you’re making me want to play w mine today!
Ooh that is a great tip, I might go in and do that to this drawing right now! 💛 Thanks so much for watching!
Love my ohuhus! I have a lot of them 😂 I really like the bushyness of the white eyebrows.
They are so crazy fun!! Thanks so much Willemijn 😊
i like your work 💗💗
Thank you so much! 💖
Yes to the digital process please! ;)
Lovely seeing how you made portraits with these! I actually added little postcard size cardboard pieces in between the markers, to keep them in rows in the bag (and made a matching swatch card). Makes it a lot easier to find the color you're looking for while drawing😅
Oh wow! That is genius!! Most of the drawing process for me is spent looking for the right color 😅 Thanks so much for watching and for sharing your hot tip with everyone! ❤️
@@emhuesart Yeah, it's an absolute time saver 😅
I'd like to see you try out crayolas regular and pastel markers together, with the right paper it goes really well
I’d be super interested in your digital art videos, they’re really pretty!
Thanks Zoe! Hoping to make a video on in soon! 😊
So I’m a person that mainly uses Ohuhu markers now I’m not the best at them obviously but I do have some tips! So you will receive a colorless blender when you get your Ohuhu markers so that is for you to blend but how you use it is you put it first before your colors, after you put it on the spot you want it to blend you will then put your colors, you can also use it kinda like an eraser for your markers, so let’s say you accidentally colored out of the lines, you can use the colorless blender there and it will kinda erase it. ALSO this tip is super IMPORTANT so if your Ohuhu marker has a frayed tip or is running out you can pull it out and flip it then use the other side this way your Ohuhu markers have a 2nd life! I think this tip only works for the brush tip but I’m not quite sure!
Thank you so much for those tips! I had no idea about using the colorless blender before the markers! I'll have to check if the chisel tip can come out 👀❤️
Your drawings are so amazing, you really inspire me to make more art, I recently also bought ohuhu markers but I just can't seem to figure out what colours you used for these kind of drawing!!! would u maybe make a tutorial off what colour markers you use???
I'm so glad this inspired you! 💕 I definitely want to do another video using them, I'll be sure to include the color names next time! It would be helpful for me too, because I don't remember which ones I used either haha 😂
I think your talent is incredible
Aw thank you so much!! 💗
I love seeing people make marker art, though I haven’t done much with my set yet cause I find them a little intimidating, I gotta build up the courage more.
I was intimidated too, but they really are a great medium! I think the pastel colors made these a little more approachable to me. Thanks so much for watching!!
I have the uhuhu markers, i want to try soing portraits like you, they’re so beautiful. Can’t wait to keep seeing your videos, and i would like to know about your digital process too! I love your videos
Thank you so much Andy! Lot's of videos planned for the upcoming weeks 😊 I hope you have fun trying out some marker portraits!
I would love to see at least one video on a digital painting process! From the looks of it, you are just as good a digital artist as you are a traditional one!!
Thank you so much!! I'm really looking forward to sharing that side of my work with you all, even if I'm no digital expert haha! 😊
I'm from Brazil and I love your videos, your voice is very relaxing.🇧🇷❤️
Thank you so much!! ❤️ Much love from Canada!
This is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ohh, I never used alcohol markers at all! But your video really made me want to try them now ☺️ Such a beautiful and inspiring video!❤
Thank you so much Christin! I know you would make beautiful work with alcohol markers ❤️
Yea! Show us your digital proccess too, it could also act as a "visual diary" you can look back on if things change 😊
Ah that is such a great point! Thanks Jada 😊 I'm hoping to make a digital process video soon, I'm glad people have expressed interest!
amazing ❤️😍
Thank you! 😊❤️
I would love to see a digital art video (fingers crossed you use procreate 😂). But also, more of the alcohol marker videos if you get the time … just so fascinating to see how they work. Thank you for another great video!!
I didn't have to browse much through your videos to subscribe. Thank the algorithm gods for you just popping in. Love your pieces. Digital art process PLEASE!!!
Aw I'm so glad you found your way here!! 💛 I'm really looking forward to sharing my digital art process with everyone 😊 Thanks so much for watching!!
I never getbthe colours to work together that well ut I need to practise with them and it's the only answer for me. Added to which, my daughter pinched my last set of ohuhu so I may just have to go buy more 😮😮..😅 thanks for this. Wonderful effects and so inspirational.
They are tricky for sure, but just so much fun! Perhaps you could do some color studies and experimentation to see which colors work together. I think selecting a few colors ahead of time helps keep things cohesive! Also, so funny that your daughter swiped them from you 🤣 If you get your hands on some more I'd love to hear how it goes! ❤️
@Emily Hughes Art that's a great suggestion. 👍 thanks so much. It's the sort of exercise I need to put Time into cos it's the kind foundation that everything grows from.
Hi! i'm a new subscriber and i just wanted to say that your art is very beautiful and inspirational
Thank you so much! ❤️ So happy to have you here!
I would love to see a process vid for your digital art :)
I'm so glad people are interested in seeing that. It is now on the list of videos that are coming soon! 💛
The little girl so cutee ❤🥰😍
yes pls do digital art tutorials!!!
Yes!!!! Do more digital art!!!
the old man is my fav
He's my fav too! Thanks so much for watching ❤️
Hi, I love this, but if you do vids with the markers again, could you put up what number or kind that your using at the moment in the process? Like at the beginning if it was V230 viola in the corner. Thank you
Thanks for featuring my song! Love the pastel colour set!
Thanks for making awesome music!
I love your mouse pad.
Thank you! I just googled "carpet mouse pad" 😄
👍👍👍👍 You should have demand a bigger set with all the colors!!!
I have some ohuhu markers, but I never like how anything I do turns out with them 😂 but you’re inspiring me to try them again!!
Aw yay! I hope you enjoy playing with them 😊 Maybe give yourself a limited color palette and do some simple studies to get the juices flowing!
@@emhuesart Thank you, that’s great advice!
I’d love to see your digital process!!!
I'm so glad there is so much interest for a digital video! I'm excited to share some tips with you all! 😊
We the people would like to see your digital art process! I’m also trying to learn myself and would like to see other artist’s approach. It would be really helpful!!!
Ah that's great to hear! I'll start working on a video on the topic! 😊 Thanks for watching Cio!
Yeah, so this is not a hot take, but you’re interpretation of color is fascinating. And I personally prefer the blocky effect of the chisel tip. It’s been difficult for me to make that happen in my own drawings. Any tips on how to keep it like that without blending too much and losing the artistic feel?
Love your work and your presentations, super chill!
Ah thanks so much! I really love playing with shapes in my portraits. I'd recommend studying your reference first and deciding ahead of time where you can pull out some blocky shapes! I also find that the eye is drawn to these areas with hard edges - so wherever I don't want the focus to be, I let that area be blended/ softer. I hope that makes sense! You can also do a few small studies of the same reference and play around with different variations of blended/ not blended and see how the results vary. Thanks for watching and for your kind words! 💛
@@emhuesart That makes sense and I’ll try this out. Thanks for the feedback! ⭐️
the brush tip, is it smooth like the copic ones? btw ur art is stunning, so amazing!
I find the brush tip to be very comparable to copics! Maybe ever so slightly stiffer than copics, but very close 😊 Thank you so much Duili!
very talented
Very beautiful video, very nice Art work 😍
Thank you so much Blanca! ❤️
Do you think you can do this again and show which colors you use?
So sorry if you've already answered this, I wanted to get some of these markers, are the ones you are using the brush markers plus the chisel tip? Thank you, absolutely love watching your videos :)
No problem at all 💛 Yes, these are the brush and chisel tip markers. They're the "Honolulu" series 😄 Thank you so much for watching!
What paper would you use to keep the markers from bleeding?
Where did you get your sketch book from?
Te amo Emily eres la mejor❤❤❤
Muchas gracias!! ❤️❤️
Your amazing
Thank you so much!
Can you please make a tutorial on how to draw these portraits with alcohol markers???pleaseeee
As someone who can't afford art supplies, I would really appreciate digital tutorials
Wow, you're good at drawing faces!
Thanks so much Kat! 💛
@@emhuesartI'd love to watch more portraits with alcohol markers, please. Your color choosing is really good, better than anyone's
@@katsmith8263 Thank you 😊 I will add that to my list of upcoming videos! 💛
@@emhuesart 👍👍👍
They're still a bit expensive for me but I hope I can get them someday ☀️
That's totally fair! 😊 Thanks so much for watching!!
I recently got another brand of alcohol markers and have no idea how to use them. Everything I make is aweful. Do you have a video on how to use them?
Alguien me puede decir donde encontrar los colores pasteles en chile por favor :'c
I hope they are available there soon! ❤️
Which pencils do you use for sketching?
Prismacolor col-erase pencils! I have an Amazon link in my description, but you can find them at most art stores ☺️
@@emhuesart thank you so much! :)
Are you using normal paper or watercolor paper for this video?❤
This is normal sketchbook paper in my Royal Talens Art Creation sketchbook! 😊
@@emhuesart you are so talented
I noticed that this is one of the only comments mentioning paper, you want to use marker paper , either ohuhu brand or any other made specifically for markers. Strathmore makes a pretty good one too. Watercolor or mixed media paper will soak up your markers sucking the lifeblood out of them.😊
Omg I love your video I want Ouhuhu markers but I’m broke and I only have a certain amount of money and I wanted to buy cd albums I liked but idk what to do 😭😭😭🙄🙄
That's a tricky decision 💛😅 My vote will always be for the art supplies!
Please do digital tutorial
I'm interested in digital art
Awesome! I'll make a video about it soon 😊
