They should look outside the UK for keepers and strikers. With the MLS over for the year, Canadian keeper Maxime Crapeau is outstanding. In the Copa competition last summer, he stopped Messi three times on a breakaway. He earned a clean sheet versus Perus, winning 1-0. He was strong versus Uraguay, losing on penalties. Suarez came on as a substitute and tied the game 2-2 in extra time. He plays for the Portland Timber and is a Player of the Year nominee. His salary is likely less than that of any keeper Wrexham has under contract. On the striker side, Canadian Jacob Shaffleberg, who plays for Nashville in the MLS, is fast, strong, and a scoring threat with a wicked left-foot shot. He also is powerful defensively. The other is Tajon Buchanan, who plays for Inter Milan but is used sparingly as a just-turned-21 player trying to break into that squad. His salary of USD 1.3 million a year might be a bit much for Wrexham to swallow, but like Shaffleber, they both are very, very fast and technically strong players. Both of them gave Argentina fits trying to contain them, and beating Mexico, Peru and tying Uraguay, and losing to Argentina who won the title. Phil should take a look at these guys. With the exception of Buchanan all are in their off season but just finished playing qualifying games in CONCACAF.
Lots of my subscribers have mentioned the same kind of thing, that Parky looks toward the MLS. The additional visa requirements would have to be looked at and if I know Parky he already has a goal keeper in mind. But I would like Wrexham to look further afield in the future. Maybe he already is and he will shock us with a MLS goalie new year.
Also there’s a rumour of Jayden Danns another 18 year old coming in from Liverpool, a player in high regard by Roy Keane, again rumours rarely pan out and I doubt very much who or what Parky has planned, you’ve just got to trust the guy, he brings players in and many fans think “why’s he done that?” And it’s like he has a gift of seeing the future and they end up being needed. If we can just get a regular goal scorer other than Max Cleworth we’ll be in with a shot of making history with the back to back to back story.
Parky's great at bringing in players and planning the dressing room. When he first brought in Brunt I wasn't impressed but he's showing what hes made of now on the pitch.
Serious question based on your ongoing refusal to allow ticket prices to increase... so basically wrexham has reached their ceiling now, right? This must be the case since they seemingly cant raise any prices. If they cant, there is no hope for a $400million poind stadium, expanded training and academy grounds, AND bring in higher tier expensive players. They cant do any of this if they cant raise revenues. Sure they are earning higher TV rev-share (streaming now), and merch sales.. but that wont cover it all
Many fans suggested a small ticket increase across the board rather than the fanzone admission fee. It would have made sense too because more fans would visit the fanzone and spend. I personally think season tickets will increase next year after being frozen this season. We are attracting high paying sponsors now too.
The community outreach is always a good thing, but that fanzone price tag is excessive in my opinion. Particularly for what the fans get for the coin. At its core it is just access to a bunch of kiosks selling food, drink, and merc. With some musical entertainment. Sorry but big whoop. Something better should be on offer.
Thank you for keeping us updated on what is going on in and around Wrexham.
No problem.
always the best for the update of the news ty👍
cheers mate

£40 more? That’s half the value of my Christmas gift from Tom!!
I'd love to have £40 in my bank right now so you will have to settle for goodwill.
Come back to Wales Sam! ❤️ xx
Do you think he can do a better job for us now, Sylvia? I'd like to think he would but not sure.
lankshear and wheatly would be formidable upfront together
We need something to kickstart our goal scoring.

@ when I heard he brought in an injured player I was sceptical, but yeah, him and Scarr are amazing.

In a nutshell the fans are paying for the privilege to buy food and drinks. All other league one clubs are free.
Totally agree - FanZone should be free entry for ticket holders to the game.
Maybe in New year.
if a recall clause isn't can wxm still bring dalby back ?
There is a way that involves the consent of the player and the team he is loaned out to.
I don’t get the whole “loan” deal. What happens if while on loan, the guy blows out his knee? Who pays then?
When Arthur broke his jaw he went back to Arsenal for it fixed.
Keep up the good work. I like Liam's channel, and am not a fan of "talking head" vids.
Thanks, inqwit
What about Ben Foster? You thought Americans would think Brad was Ben didn’t you? Ha!
Not all Americans, just you haha
FotMob sure thought Ben was on the bench last weekend! They corrected it for the Tuesday game though. :)
Saw it LOL
