I truly appreciate your support through my journey/
I am shooting this video to show you some super cute vintage accessories I thrifted in the last month for my Etsy shop called BlastFromThePastBags. I found some adorable vintage scarves, shawls, wraps and cover ups. I have also included a super sheer 90s wrap summer dress with florap paisley print and a wonderful cut out silk tank top. In this video I will be sharing the most delivate and elegant shawls and scarves that I have got my hands on through my thrifting hunts.
For some reason I tend to gravitate towards sheer scarves and shawls. I guess it's because as a young child I was totally amazed by my moms adorable scarves and shawls. She had plenty of them - sheer neck scarved in a variety of colors and patterns, fringed gypsy shawls - lace and crochet, sparkly lame wraps, beaded shoulder cover ups, you name it! In the 90s and early Y2Ks while I was a high school I also used to wear plenty of scarves, I loved wearing skinny neck scarves tied around my neck as a necktie. They were so grunge and added a pop of color to my outfits! I also adored skinny scarves which I wore as headband scarves. I have worn scarves as belts, as purse embellishments, as brooches. There are numerous ways you can wear a scarf if you unleash your imagination.
I also remember that back in the 80s I would sit and watch my grandmother prepare to go out in front of her dressing table. All dressed up, hair done, make up on. And of course going through her collection of short neck accordeon scaves with fine pleats (it seems they only made accordion scarves at the time here in Bulgaria, just jocking LOL, but my granny had lots of them). She would pick a scarf and adjust it through her scarf brooch ring - a gold tone one with simple design. Even as a child I new that a scarf can totally transform your outfit, profiding an eye catching detail even to any outfit you choose to wear.
So let me show you these cute vintage thrift haul finds that I have hunted for my Etsy shop. I will make sure to list every item within the next day or two and add a link to each vintage scarf in this video for you.
