Well said, I like Mew but I lost my respect on him. The way he’s acting is not right, he was put up there where he is now only after TTTS, meaning he became more famous after the series. Now he is saying it was all fan service even using their “temple”, GK mom was also there. It was their FANS that lift him up to where he is now. As much as I love them, both Mew & Gulf are definitely in the wrong for taking the fan service too far. I mean many BL couples do fan service too but it wasn’t as severe as them so I can understand why many thought they are real. But it’s also not wrong for them to severe ties now. They can do that. I have no issue personally the way Gulf handled things. He always said he is single in his interviews and that he & Mew are just friends. He also are still nice & acknowledge WJs. I’m okay with that. BUT I took issue w/ Mew’s harsh tweet. I am okay w/ him saying all that but not the part where he implied fans are ‘uneducated’ & ‘mentally ill’. That is so insulting and disrespectful. Also, I've always assumed that their relationship was genuine rather than a by product of fan service or queerbating (I believe Mew himself stated that there was no fan service at the time; correct me if I'm wrong, but my sentiments stay the same). Yes Mew has his own reasons for letting fans believe that they are a couple or what they were doing are just fan service. But what is disheartening are the words he said that will make you wonder why he said those words. Even Gulf never said anything about it. They did not think what will be the outcome or they did not consider the féelings of their thrillions......fans who are supporting them. MewGulf was an iconic couple, and because so many people were invested in what truly seemed to be a beautiful romance blooming before their eyes it really became hard to let it go. People are not stupid and any grown adult understands what fan service is. However, their relationship may have started off as fan service but definitely became more. Eyes don't lie and mannerisms/ body language don't lie. MewGulf was invested in each other in front of the camera and behind the scenes. Mew said that they are bros, but friends don't avoid each other and not contact each other for two years. I'm fine with this relationship being over but the situation should have been handled a long time ago.
I believed so, there was no clean break up, brothers forever they said as they even had the temple whatever ceremony it was but why there was no communication after they separate ways. Remember the live where Gulf had a lot of hickeys ( Mew was in a panic) the day after sleeping at Mew's house. What about Mew kissing Gulf on the shoulder at the Shopplee event. And then his kisses on Schalf's cheek when he tried to rip off the stickers (Dentiste event). In addition to the fact that at the Jenim-Sports event, hickeys were clearly seen on Gulf's neck, and behind the left ear. You can even find short videos from this live where these hickeys are close and visible, and even how Mew turned Gulf to the other side, so that he would not show them to the camera. And there was also Mew's live where it seems his mother (?) started saying something like "I told your boyfriend ..", but Mew quickly corrected her, saying "just calling Gulf's name." Somehow too much happened then, and Mew says: nothing happened. Very strange.

I am also a fan of MewGulf tho same sex is not acceptable yet in some countries I am one of those who rooted for them. It saddens me to hear Mew saying that it is only a fan service. What hurt is his words of how he told the truth and that 3 years is too long to keep it a secret. If I may say so why not Mew and Gulf talk together in one setting or clarify the truth to clear things so that this issue will come to rest for the betterment of both parties and the fans. But I think there's more to the way they parted. They both said nothing happened, but both confirmed they never interacted or communicated again after TTTS. That is strange. Pretty sure most of the bl actors are straight. The good ones make us question it though. I've heard gulf talk about girls so I always kinda didn't really believe mewgulf was anything other then fan service. Did they play tharntype well? Yes absolutely even years later some of their scenes are still iconic in bl. Mew especially is at the age where marriage and kids is what he wants I can't blame him for wanting to have happiness. As much as I love them, both Mew & Gulf are definitely in the wrong for taking the fan service too far. I mean many BL couples do fan service too but it wasn’t as severe as them so I can understand why many thought they are real. But it’s also not wrong for them to severe ties now. They can do that. I have no issue personally the way Gulf handled things. He always said he is single in his interviews and that he & Mew are just friends. He also are still nice & acknowledge WJs. I’m okay with that. Also, I've always assumed that their relationship was genuine rather than a by product of fan service or queerbating (I believe Mew himself stated that there was no fan service at the time; correct me if I'm wrong, but my sentiments stay the same). I'm not even rooting for them to be true lovers huhu nor upset that they were not, I just wistfully wanted to see them interact like normal close friends or brothers, like what I'm witnessing with taynew, maxtul, ohmnanon and others, because it shows that the relationship they've showed to us was sincere and pure (no pun intended).
They could always set boundaries from the start, and the fans would understand, so it wouldn't have ended this way. Truth be told, I was kinda expecting that they weren't together (which is sad considering their previous interactions, which turned out to be just a fan service). However, I did not expect the way it was revealed if the translation is correct, I must say the choice of words is harsher than my grammar.
Mew knows better than that, considering he's the "educated" one; just draw the boundary, then stop. You come out clean, end of the story no need for such unnecessary and offending words that would maim the fans (as the main comment said, mental health hotline, etc.)

Generally speaking, I disagree to fan service with some extent, which is when two people portray themselves as lovers in public, but eventually, they are not (in fact after the project, they become indifferent toward one another or so) what a betrayal isn't it? (or maybe I was just overreacting, idk). It's true that one should keep actors and their fictional characters apart. Well, how can one blame the other if off-cam they kept acting as if they were actually together, having moments together, quite deceitful, don't you think? (i know it all boils down to marketing strategy, but still, it's infuriating).

MewGulf was an iconic couple, and because so many people were invested in what truly seemed to be a beautiful romance blooming before their eyes it really became hard to let it go. People are not stupid and any grown adult understands what fan service is. However, their relationship may have started off as fan service but definitely became more. Eyes don't lie and mannerisms/ body language don't lie. MewGulf was invested in each other in front of the camera and behind the scenes. Mew said that they are bros, but friends don't avoid each other and not contact each other for two years. Gulf worked hard for his achievement and nothing to do with mew's fame anymore. They separated longtime ago. Gulf never used mew not unless ask him and forced to reply because out of respect to his fans.
Guys. In my opinion it was not fanservice. there are several videos of them off camera in intimate moments. Remember the live where Gulf had a lot of hickeys ( Mew was in a panic) the day after sleeping at Mew's house. The night before, they did a live in Gulf's condo where Mew was trying to cover Gulf's legs. It's all very strange.

In addition to the fact that at the Jenim-Sports event, hickeys were clearly seen on Gulf's neck, and behind the left ear. You can even find short videos from this live where these hickeys are close and visible, and even how Mew turned Gulf to the other side, so that he would not show them to the camera. And there was also Mew's live where it seems his mother (?) started saying something like "I told your boyfriend ..", but Mew quickly corrected her, saying "just calling Gulf's name." Somehow too much happened then, and Mew says: nothing happened. Very strange.

I am also a fan of MewGulf tho same sex is not acceptable yet in some countries I am one of those who rooted for them. It saddens me to hear Mew saying that it is only a fan service. What hurt is his words of how he told the truth and that 3 years is too long to keep it a secret. If I may say so why not Mew and Gulf talk together in one setting or clarify the truth to clear things so that this issue will come to rest for the betterment of both parties and the fans. But I think there's more to the way they parted. They both said nothing happened, but both confirmed they never interacted or communicated again after TTTS. That is strange. Other BL couples are at least civil to each other and comment on each other's posts. But these two just went silent on each other. Pretty sure most of the bl actors are straight. The good ones make us question it though. I've heard gulf talk about girls so I always kinda didn't really believe mewgulf was anything other then fan service. Did they play tharntype well? Yes absolutely even years later some of their scenes are still iconic in bl. Mew especially is at the age where marriage and kids is what he wants I can't blame him for wanting to have happiness.
