Some basic things to keep in mind when buying a used motorcycle from a private seller are:
1) Know what you are looking for or what you want.
2) Know what that bike SHOULD BE WORTH.
3) Know the basics of condition or have a mechanic look at it.
4) BE SAFE.
5) Pay attention to the title, it needs to have NO LIEN and needs to be in the seller's name.
