Aww gee Mr Steve, what a trip down memory lane. Lovely reminder of the Bridle Track except we did it Hill End to Bathurst 30 years ago , before it became a super highway. But the excitement only escalated as the check in chick was going the goo goo eyes at you each time you finished, she’d never been a fillum star before ! Then you were pulling the passes over the younger bikes, you hero. Lastly you got to Coffs, our neck of the woods at least we are only 120kms north on the Clarence River! We almost got to meet you! Thanks fr for the memories and the fun. Will remain with eyes peeled for next instalment.

I’m currently leading a 4WD group to the Flinders ranges…the return vids will be a few weeks away. I have done the pipeline track a few times. Not much fun if it’s wet. Glad you got your bike back on the road. 😀

I know all those towns you went through. Oberon,God that place can be cold, Hill End well know writer in the firearms world lived there until recently Mudgee, I could live there. Reminds me of Phil from Chateau Life [Normandie France] and now Car Chronicles too. He and some m8s ran trucks and vans over to The Ukraine containing clothes and food donated to charities working over that way, 6 weeks in. 25:16in Do you think the goat was leading or along for the walk or just gettin on their goat? Anyway nice ride m8, Looking forward to the trip home. Go easy and stay vertical Eh!

Great video Steve. I prefer to ride alone or with another buddy. BMW USA Rally starts Thursday in Redmond, Oregon. Unfortunately, a little thing called work keeps me from attending. Can’t wait to retirement then I can ride more. Western Australia still on my bucket list. Cheers.

I was on this ride and a couple of KTMs did break down. Nothing insurmountable to get the back on the road. The best fun each morning was counting how many KTM’s weren’t starting! No real reason why they wouldn’t start, according to their owners, the bikes just wouldn’t start, lol. KTM = Keep Taking Money!
@@user-ku4yk4ut4z I'm only taking the piss mate. Any bike can break down but KTM's do seem to more than others. I had a KTM950 Adventure. It was a fantastic bike to ride but I couldn't trust it after a few issues including a fuel pump. I've had a BMW 1150GSA since 2003 with 100,000 kms on the clock and it's never stopped on me. Neither has either of the 3 DR650's I've had or even my Ducati's. I guess they'll all stop on me now that I've said that😂😂

Hi Alan, I’d use them again if the journey was 5,000-8,000km long. Good hard wearing tyre with enough grip to get out of most situations. Noisy on the road but tyres are always a compromise. Regards.

KTM riders still live in denial that their bikes are nearly always the ones that break down on a trip😂😂.
Funny But i have 2 BMW 1250 GS and GSA and both have broken down and NEVER been on a trip!
